1. Make sure the programme is a good fit. Interview them. Do you feel the connection with the faculty or campus? 2. There are no right answer usually. Do you conduct gracefully? How do you come across to clients? 3. Be yourself. 4. Show that you are interested in the interview. Speciality that they provide, Clinical placement, faculty research interview 5. Send a Thank You email after interview. I am so impressed with the interview.
Important to talk about! This period for me was so stressful and overwhelming. It took people giving me tips like these to help me get through my anxiety and do it. Nice work 👏
Hi there, as a first-gen student this is so helpful! I feel like everyone is hiding a secret from me. While I’ve been in undergrad I’ve been able to talk with students already in graduate school and they never share that well of tips (other than to interview the person I’m with)
Hi Erica, I am SO happy to hear this was helpful to you! I totally get that feeling of a secret being kept from you. I had that same exact feeling too, and decided I had no other choice than to take it into my own hands, find the answers for myself, and share with others so they hopefully never have to experience that same feeling. Best of luck with everything!!
Hi, thank for putting out this great content. I wish I had seen this earlier. I had an interview a week ago. I would have sent each of them a thank you email if I had watch this earlier. I guess it’s too late to do that now . I’m hoping to get a favorable response from the school soon .
