Wow, I haven't heard about the middle voice in my English lesson before. Have the "middle voice" been used in the conversation more than writing? I'm not sure. But when I see the movie, "middle voice" seems to come out.....
You know, it's funny! We actually use the middle voice a lot for describing certain things - both in writing and in conversation. But most people don't know about how it actually works! I think you're right, though - maybe we like to use it a lot in speech and things like movies/TV because it's very short and gets to the point!
