In most Engineering Drawing (for Technical Person) most important information of the views will be given. i.e. whether it drawn in 1st or 3rd angle, which one is front, side or top as well as scales etc... However if those information are not given (educational purpose i.e. challenge students to figure out the information by themselves), the front view can be selected by by the following criteria >> The most informatic view (Look for the best shape or most contours, features like circles, curves, irregular shapes, corners, etc...) >> The least hidden line. >> Longest dimension (if the given views are almost with the same feature, the longest dimensioned view will be selected) >> Natural position of the object (i.e. if the given object is a sofa, its view seems like a sofa as we sit on it; not inverted as it sit on us 😁😁) could be appropriate. The remaining concepts will be included in the upcoming videos. Enjoy!
