I just realized how long I have been listening to Joel. Exactly 20 years ago, I was sitting on the floor, in an empty apartment, as a single mom 18 years old, as my baby slept in the other room. I had a tiny TV with no cable and Netflix hadn’t been invented yet. I was watching Joel on the screen as he preached, and this was quite a while before he moved into the stadium. The first sermon I ever heard from him, he was talking about how your tongue is your sail. His message inspired me so much and I have been listening to him ever since. That same baby in the other room is 21 years old now and she remembers how her mama would play Joel late at night through the tears, drugs, loneliness, and heartache. I can’t believe it’s been that long and his message has come full circle as he is preaching what he preached all the way back then!
A few years ago, I took a flight to Texas by myself and got to attend a service in the stadium. I met Joel and it was an honor. His voice, his teachings, and his overall energy and spirit has brought me through some very, very, very dark places.
I know he will probably never ever, even see this message but if he ever does, Thank You so much Joel. Only me and God know what kind of despair you have pulled me out of. 💛 I am still alive and I am blessed. ✝️
GOD pulled despair out, Joel says the right things but do not idolize him, it may not look like idolizing and you may not mean to but the enemy can be slick of you dont pay attention. Most of your post was about Joel and a fraction of The Lord toward the end, look at that, that is fact,turn it around so you dont go downhill without The Father's help. I hope it made you feel better to throw shade on someone’s smile. That’s like someone saying how much they appreciate and respect their teacher at school for teaching them the information that later became important to them! Pastors are teachers they are not gods and they are not Christ. They are not angels and they are surely not magical. They are teachers! Only I know what situations I was in where Joel’s teachings aligned my thought process, brought me closer to God, and pulled me out of dark places. You yourself better be careful trying to read into someone’s thoughts and judging what their motives are. Why are you even in here reading posts and analyzing? Maybe you should go get your teaching license and analyze your high school students’ book reports. Not come into a community chat room with adults and try to read into what they say and what they feel and count how many times they said this and not that. Sounds like you have some issues you are dealing with that you need to work out. Go deal with them and stop trying to preach to people who you would NEVER talk to on the street. If you knew that much, trust me you wouldn’t be watching RUclips in your free time trying to correct stuff that you can’t correct. Get outa here!

This mother's day will be 2 years clean for me. I was on my death bed. Dying of infections, suffering, addicted to heroin.

My marriage is broken and my wife is gone until has another family. My financial situation is not good yet , my business is struggling, my life is not what I wished. But this sermon was exactly what I needed to listen to to hear the word of God about all my worries. Last night I hit (my buddy said a bolt on the freeway) going about 80mph. I was able to safely slow down and pull over. The first person my friend called was able to miraculously get a tire and wheel (from a used tire place that was closing in 20 minutes) and after 2.5 hours I was able to drive 1.5 hours home. For 2.5 hours 100's of cars and semis were passing us on the freeway. I know God watches over me! Thank you Jesus! Thank you Joel for these messages. I listen to you every day. Including God in my life is the best choice I ever made. Bless you all dear brothers and sisters. There is a God and you will be here until your destiny is fulfilled.
I will become a licensed electronics engineer this October 2024. I will top the board exam. Nothing is impossible in Jesus’ powerful name. Amen.

The medical report may not be good, but remember that GOD HAS THE LAST SAY! Keep praying and believing and watch God go to work in your life.
