Never cut any floating floor less then 8 inch on start row. This is a how not install a floating floor.

If you make the floor on the entire apattment you can not checked every corners. there will be always some place where will be less than 8 inch. You can planing this if you doing one room but not when there is so many rooms. So you don't know what you say or you probably never doing this work

Zu kleine und unschöne Randabschnitte sollte man vermeiden und können auch zur Reklamation führen. Raummitte ausmessen, Planken probehalber auslegen und so für Anfang und Ende die gleiche Plankenlänge ermitteln, 1/3 Stoßüberlappung ist anzuraten!
