crazy how many cool maneuvers your can do, like sliding off a platform and using a dropkick aimed downwards then ledge grabbing to effectively long jump really far
I was playing around in sandbox and found some pretty interesting things about the slide boost. You can do it about anywhere you want, for all of its variants. The ground one, where you slide, jump and kick. This one doesn't give you that much heigth nor speed, but its more simple. The ledge one, where you slide off a ledge, gaining a lot of speed and kick the ground, this one gives you the most height, speed and is more versitale. You can do it on really small ledges or you can slide during a vault for the same effect. You can combine them with multiple dropkick juggles for more distance. And the slide boost is not the only way to get alot of heigth, you can simply dropkick the ground. The more speed you get from falling the more heigth you gain, running also helps.
I can’t believe I’m doing rage mode BEFORE finding this video lol. I know about some moves like the slide hops but that juggle stuff,I never knew it was in the game! Thank you man this is gonna help big time 🔥
@@Vjmnn true but it makes it ALOT easier lol. Best gaming experience I’ve ever had but that shit was beyond hard,I’ll do more of it when the dlc comes out tho!
The craziest thing about this to me is that ive actually thought about using the dropkick for a self boost b4 and tried it, but never went to the lengths of using the slide boost as a way to create EVEN MORE momentum. Its insane. Insert meme: Lore accurate 106
Awesome breakdown! Thank you for making the video, but there's more to find! One move you've already performed but didn't specifically point out in the video was the "edge leap" (or just leap)- which is where you vault into a ledge by your feet while in mid-air. It behaves a bit differently and is a sort of "meta move" addition, but it's definitely worth exploring! ;)
Yes, it really is just kind of another vault- but you can use it very deliberately to your advantage while being pretty specific- so I think I'd consider it a move
for the last trick, I found something p interesting when I was just messing around. 1: the amount of YeetForce™ from your kicks seems to be directly related to your horizontal speed 2: doing a double jump/double vault off of something makes you go faster (also seems to happen sometimes when simply sliding off of a surface? no clue why but it helps sometimes) conclusion? Doublevault with a tight slide+dropkick can send you to the fuckin skybox. the timing is pretty forgiving for how much you fly, too. (bonus points if you can figure out how to use the dropkick momentum to pogo from wall to wall without touching down) great guide though, big respect for making it
I also noticed that the speed of the slide seems to increase sometimes when going off a ledge. I couldn't figure out how to pull it off consistently so I didn't add it to the video. If you find anything out pls make a comment
@@thigikna I actually figured it out while labbing out some moves, it happens when you slide on an object that you close-mantled to, most consistent way I found to hit it was just holding the slide key as the mantle animation played and jumping afterwards to keep slidehopping or chaining it into another mantleboost. hope that helps! less consistently I got perfect Bhops to work, if I slid over a platform at the right height, but i didn't find many good setups for that
@@thigikna forgot to mention, but since it's a pretty high stamina move, it helps to throw in some ground kicks until Regen starts if you're chaining it with other tricks
@@thigikna sorry for all the replies but I just had to tell you, I found that with the mantleboosted dropkick, you can get out of bounds on front yard by just goin straight up. thanks again for the guide, got me experimenting a lot with movement now, hella fun
well, game is out now. What're your thoughts? I'm LOVING it. Slide Hopping was made so much easier to do more often because of the stamina buff/change they did. Also if you dropkick right after the jump, you wont bounce off an enemy and lose your momentum, but I'm sure you knew about that already. It's very fun dropkicking a guys head off then just keep running
I doubt anyone is going to reply to this, but how do I drop kick on PS five the one with both legs I’ve done it twice by accident and I can’t figure out the proper way to do it
Huge respect for the guide and the cybergrind theme use.

I wanna know what happened to Dospang
Is it still possible to do these tricks in the console release? I’m playing on Ps5 and can’t seem to pull off the jump/down kick to scale floors
Sorry for the late reply, but I have no idea. I imagine the inputs will be harder to pull off on controller, but they all should still be possible
only up in trepang when?
This is all really hard to do with a controller.
exactly what i was thinking rn bro 😭
