I've been listening to this remake for years, I have to say I always thought it was better than the original,(criminal, I know) but I didn't know why--- until I seriously thought about it.... the beat is almost manic (of course), it leaves you with a sort of CONTENT/HAPPY feeling as opposed to the original (which really defines being alone for me), then he captures the lyrics as written... not pop, the girly "seduction" vocals (best way I could describe it from Sammy), were just too bubbly and evocative, so hats off to you sir!!! As always, your depth separates you from the sheep. Thank you!
