Kate, the lead singer, is SO good at making you feel uncomfortable and anxious, which I'm pretty sure was intentional because she mentioned in an interview somewhere about wanting to dig into mental health, trauma, depression, all that. They're criminally underrated, so hopefully this gets a few more eyes on them.
A cool mathcore project that you might like is Rolo Tomassi. Their 2018 album, Time Will Die and Love Will Bury It, was my #1 album from that year. I'd recomend the song "Whispers Among Us". I believe they're recording an album this year as well so I'm pretty hyped!

I'm at a point in my life where I will shut a -core song down in a heartbeat as soon as I hear cleans. So this was a pleasant surprise. Really cool sounding band!

Ooh okay, commented before you added the this year part but in that case Monasteries - Allowing Your Traitors to Die. Track's quite mathy and very all over the place in the best way possible
Someone in a facebook group put me on this band not so long ago. The vocals are insane. They made me feel kinda weird at some times. It reminded me a lot of Nattram at certain points which says a lot about the vocalist ability to evoke such feelings.
If you want more that would be described as math-sludge, I recommend the album “No Absolutes In Human Suffering” by Gaza. It’s their 3rd album. It came out in 2012 and I’d say they pioneered the sound. It’s my favorite album of all time and I highly recommend it
Distant is gnarly as fuck bound in fear is dope too Ben mason is great. He has a feature with old wharf that is crazy. Cannibal corpse is trash tho. Album art is dope tho 😂
@@METALBIRB Yeah I'm way too close minded sometimes. It's why I love this channel... we have such similar tastes in metalcore so when you post reactions to bands like this that I wouldve never checked out because of the name before, I get hit in the face with a ripper of a track.
