I'm not sure what you mean but I'm assuming whether you pay or if its given as a gift will depend on your relationship with the person. It also depends on the quantity you're asking for
I made this mix this past weekend and love it. I’ve been using my homemade butter mix for about 2 years and it’s amazing for my skin. It’s moisturizing and leaves my skin soft and smooth. I’m hoping that long term it will help with dark spots too!! This is a great video.
Aww that's awesome. I've been using it for years and I totally love it. Currently using it on my bump and no signs of stretch marks yet so fingers crossed 🤞🏾. Thank you for watching
I went out today and bought ingredients and made this! I had to substitute some things because I live in Montenegro and had to work with what I had. But it came out really great. It's so soft and fluffy. Thank you!
You. An let it harden a little bit. The more hardened it is the fluffier the butter you get at the end but whisking just becomes more difficult so it’s up to you really
Can I leave out the argan oil and the caster out? I just have spent a lot of money this year and I don't have these so I don't want to spend a lot more money. I'll buy the vitamin E oil but not the others. And how long did you leave it in the fridge and how long did you have to whip it for? Can you respond back to me as soon as you see this post? I'm making it for a friend
You can use whatever ingredients you have. Doesn’t have to be the same as the video. Just leave it in the fridge until it begins to harden and solidify. There’s no recommended time for whipping as it’s determined by the specific ingredients you’re using. So just whip until you achieve your desired texture.
I use it for both hair and skin and so do many people. It's the only thing I use on my skin but not on my face. I would say try it and see what results you get. Also will what darken? Your skin or the shea butter? Thank you for watching 😘
Thank you. Sorry I did not time it. I usually just whisk it till I like how fluffy it is so could be anything from 30mins to an hour max. How long it takes will also be affected by the type of oils and butters you use as well as quantities 😊
@@LimitlessBloom and you could not mention this in the video or discribtion box? I am wondering why "it's not working..." this is so essential. I thought I was going to mix 5 minutes or so.
Yes it would. The extra oils are optional as they offer extra softness to the butter to make it lighter. I'd say you would definitely need to add other oils if using only cocoa butter as it's very hard but sheabutter on its own should be fine. So basically depends on the hardness of the butter you're using
Yeah you can replace it with other butters like mango butter but I mainly use this for my skin as I find it does not mix well with most of the hair products I've tried
I made a similar one for my first pregnancy and it did help until I got minor stretch marks on my love handles around 37weeks. The thing with stretch mark is you will get it if it’s in your genes. Some creams may minimise their appearance or do nothing at all. So it’s just one of those things you can’t guarantee
Curl Sisters it solidifies slightly but retains most of the fluffiness. If you want it to stay fluffy through and through then you would have to apply water and a good preservative. Thanks for watching and merry Christmas x
Here’s the updated recipe for this butter. The non-greasy version - ruclips.net/video/CSNyEgNT-LQ/видео.htmlsi=cj-9daVahJy7D5bW
That looks really good. When anyone is going back home (Nigeria) and they ask me what I want, I always say Shea butter
Thats the best way. the ones here are so expensive
I wonder if you pay them for it.. or give something back...
I'm not sure what you mean but I'm assuming whether you pay or if its given as a gift will depend on your relationship with the person. It also depends on the quantity you're asking for
This is the 1st time I'm seeing it whipped before it even start to freeze/harden
I love the texture excellent. ️ ❤️
Thank you :)
It looks marvelous! Great tip on shredding the cocoa butter!

Can use in on face as well?
It can be too heavy for some people so try it with caution

Potato peeler for cocoa butter. Genious! And we don't have to put them all on the stove. Just hot water.
That potato peeler is a God send😂 never actually use it for potatoes 😅

How long did it take you to whip it from a liquid to a solid

I never thought to melt down my shea and coconut butter...will do that for my next batch!
Hope it comes out nice and creamy for you :-)
Cocoa butter from the seeds of chocolate plant not coconut butter

Hello,
Please can you make and sell this creame?
Would Jojoba oil be a good substitute for the argan oil? I don't have that one on hand.
Yes it will. You can substitute any of the oils depending on the texture and thickness you want for the final results
Great video! So you only let the melted butters cool? Instead of the mixture actually hardening
I want my mixture to be pourable
You. An let it harden a little bit. The more hardened it is the fluffier the butter you get at the end but whisking just becomes more difficult so it’s up to you really
Where did you get the mason jars ?
I bought them from Wilkinsons UK the small jars

You didn't mention how many of the vitamin e capsules you added. Definitely want to make my own batch
Tayisha oops i used 3 😊.
Tayisha that's all i had left but you can use as much as you want depending on how big your batch is
How much of the oils does one add. I hear some of the essential oils should be used in moderation.
Do you use this on your face? I want to try it!
I used to but found it to be quite heavy but you can try it as it may work for you. I mainly use it for my body
Where did you get /buy Shea butter and coco butter
Shea butter is from Ghana and cocoa butter is from www.realfoods.co.uk/product/16366/organic-cocoa-butter
can I use it a body cream..will it darken

This looks amazing! Only thing is I find coconut oil too greasy. Could another oil be used instead - like sweet almond? Thoughts?
Yes definitely
Jojoba oil is amazing! ☺️ I add that to mine!
You can use grape seed oil or use arrowroot powder to cut the greasiness
Did you our put it in the freezer or in your refrigerator??
I do sometimes but not for long cos you don’t want it to freeze over but it’s definitely quicker than putting it in the fridge
Does it work for stritch marks i have alot in my body ????
Yes but it’s definitely not a quick fix
Great video! Are you Ghanaian?
Thank you. Yes I am ☺️
@@LimitlessBloom cool lol I am too.

Yes it would
Can you share the portion for making as it's my first time
Hi it’s all in the description box 😊
After its whipped, how do you store?
In a cool dry place away from direct sunlight . Sorry for late reply sometimes I miss some comments
Have u ever tried to put sunscreen in it? Or does the natural butter have specific spf in it?
I think it has but it will be in small amounts so always use a proper formulated spf that way you know you’re definitely protected
@@LimitlessBloom ohk thank you. Do you have any suggestions?
Can I melt the butters, let them cool, whip them and then add the oils afterwards? Or is it compulsory to add while the butters are melted?
I guess you can but it may affect the end results. You can try it and let us know how it turns out
If you do it this way would say add half the oils in it during the melt down process and the other half when you start whipping
All these ingredients are great. however shea butter makes my hair fallout I'm sure its different for everyone though
Yeah you can replace it with other butters like mango butter but I mainly use this for my skin as I find it does not mix well with most of the hair products I've tried
How can we use it on the hair???
You can use it to seal In your leave -in but I only use it for my skin. My hair doesn’t really like either the Shea butter or the cocoa butter in it
How long does this batch last? or does it not expire?
6 months if kept in a cool dark place. So long as you don’t get water in it
Can this help during pregnancy to prevent stretch marks?

Some creams may minimise their appearance or do nothing at all. So it’s just one of those things you can’t guarantee
Hi how long did you leave it in the fridge for?
It’s cools or starts to solidify
Ok thanx x
It’s it greasy? Some body butter are really greasy.
It was fine for me but if you want your butter to be less greasy just use more light absorbent oils and leave out oils like castor oil etc
What are the portion sizes?
Hi, Portion sizes of what?
How many jars do you think I can fill up with 50 pounds of Shea butter? Please reply back
Hi so sorry this is not a question I can answer as it will mainly depend on the size of jars you will be using.
How much jars do you fill up from this batch?
About 8 and I also filled larger jars so it will all depend on the sizes of your jars
@@LimitlessBloom what size jars are those?
How can we order from Ghana?
Hi I don’t sell these I just make it for myself sorry 😞
quanti grammi sono una tazza?
Can I use it on Face?
It’s too heavy for some but ok for most people. I guess you just have to try it but be aware it could break you out
Also forgot to say it depends on the oils used. Lighter oils used with the butters are less likely to clog your pores so keep that in mind
I have been whisking for almost 3 hours and it’s still liquid… did I do something wromg
Really? That’s weird. What measurements did you use? If you use more oils than butter it will loose it’s solidity. Hopefully it worked in the end?
I think I started whisking immediately, should have let it solidify a bit. Will try again
@@janetfosuah1972 oh yeah you’re supposed to let it cool in the fridge till it’s starting to solidify slightly then start to whisk

Good texture but for me to much essential oils!
This tutorial is just to show you how I make mine. You don’t have to follow it to a T. Definitely do omit or add whatever you like 😌
Mine did not get thick at all
Really? What oils did you use? You have use more butters like Sheabutter and cocoa butter if you live in a hot country
