The Scorpios Rex is hands down the most terrifying and coolest hybrid in the entire Jurassic franchise. It's ugly, its movements are unnatural, it kills in numbers, and it's unpredictable. Season 3 went hard with the scare factor and it was the best season of the show imo

Out of all the seasons of camp Cretaceous season 3 was by far the best season no doubt. Not only did this season really give the audience that scare factor of the Scorpius Rex and showing the true terror of being on an island full of dinosaurs and not knowing wether or not today will be your last day on earth alive, but it also gives us a deep dive into the cannon of the Jurassic park universe by revealing that the Scorpius Rex was in fact the worlds first true hybrid not the indominus Rex like we originally thought and it was the template/design for improving on the hybrids thus the indominus Rex and others was born. That and we get a lot of fallen kingdom references which I loved btw. The creators of this show Zack Stentz, Scott Kreamer, Colin Trevorrow, Steven Spielberg, etc. did a fantastic job with season 3 and the entire camp Cretaceous series. Well done

Nah bro this was easily the scariest dinosaur in the Jurassic world series, maybe even in the whole franchise. It's this malnourished, thin, misshapen Frankenstein creature that absolutely wrecked the campers. And does anyone notice how freakishly human-like it looks at 1:56? That thing is just messed up. The Indominus and the Indoraptor looked like they could be natural creatures, but this thing is just a freak of nature. It reminds of those scrapped designs for those human-dinosaur hybrids, and I'm glad they took inspiration. Absolutely terrifying, and a memorable hybrid that would definitely scare the target audience.

The way the arms bend when it roars just adds a whole nother level of uncanny scary
Yeah, kinda looks like a human when it is doing that
Thing is this dinosaur had a realistic personality, in this scene at least. Its secured two kills when it notices the sparking, so rather than get a third one it chooses to check out this thing its never seen before. It only goes after the children because they scream after it attacks the gate for shocking it. Then when it hears the roar of a larger dinosaur it realizes thats a better meal than 5 children.the only real issue is it just abandons the two corpses it had nearby but uneaten kills are a trait the indominus gets so that adds up
From what I read before, the roar the Scorpios goes after might've been the (SPOILERS) 2nd Scorpios it later engages with. It's never really confirmed what made the sound (that I know of), but the Scorpios Rex is absolutely fascinating to me in how it behaves.

The way it's body looks when it screams is so epic, really the only genuinely scary/creepy dinosaur from the whole series.
This was by far my favorite season of camp Cretaceous yet. This season is probably the darkest thing in Jurassic World yet, and to prove that, I get nightmares about the scorpios Rex.

I was half expecting the creature roaring in the distance at 3:30 was a very annoyed T-rex just by the TLW style hollering in the roar. Then again, it was likely the other Scorpios.
1:55 The howl made me remember about the old script for the Jurassic world fallen kingdom…man I wished we had the scraped script

Im not gonna lie, this one scene alone scared me for more than a week than any other scary jw or jp scene. I was paranoid for more than a week about it; it kept me up at night. Heck, it still gives me ptsd of how scary it was to this day
1:56 3:27
For some reason, I expected Scorpios Rex to be a T-rex with the claws and tail of a scorpion. But when I finally witnessed the genetically modified beast, I realized how scary that monstrosity truly is, and compared it to my silly mental depiction. Scorpios Rex looked like a mix between a T-rex, and a Chupacabra. Make the quills poisonous and you'll get one heck of an abomination that will stalk me in my nightmares, especially after what it did to Sammy. It makes the Indominus Rex look like a teddy bear by comparison.
So true
That's because this dinosaur was hybrid combination of Carnotarus, T-Rex, Velociraptor, scorpionfish and tree frog DNA.

i knew scorpios reminded me something and its chupacabra
Well the Indominus rex usually hunt for sport or food, while the scorpio is just totally insane and his hunting eather for eating or for letting loose his murderous tendencies.
I love how Dairus put himself in front to save them who agrees
WITH ME
When first heard the name I originally thought it had Scorpius in its name because Dr. Wu used the DNA of Scorpiovenatus, which is an abelisaruid in the same family as Carnotaurus. I was sort of right since he definitely used some Abelisaruid in its genome, but I didn't expect the venomous quills from scorpion fish as I thought it it was called that from Scorpiovenatus
Socrpius rex have
Tyrannosaurus rex DNA, Velociraptor DNA, Carnotaurus DNA, Scorpion fish DNA, Tree frog DNA
"You cannot have an animal with exaggerated predator features without the corresponding behavioral traits. You are acting like we are engaged in some kind of mad science, but we are doing what have done from the beginning. Nothing in Jurassic World is natural! We have always filled gaps in the genome with the DNA of other animals, and if their genetic code was pure, many of them would look quite different but you didn't ask for reality you asked for more teeth!"

@@darkonyx6995 No you won't, because they were half expecting the monster to attack (sort of like in a thunderstorm, people don't scream loudly when there's a thunder). What's more, the monster was focused on the fence itself, until they started screaming, which made the monster focus on them. Hell, they were specifically hiding to avoid the monster.

Well to be fair this Dinosaur the Scorpius Rex is the First Hybrid Dinosaur that He ever made and it is confirmed that it is a Prototype too so this Dinosaur is already very Unstable so it is no Surprise that it is even more aggressiv and even more Violent than the Indominus Rex, funfact Dr Wu did infact Used later the datas of the Scorpius Rex for the final Design for the Indoraptor All in all this is a very dangerous Monster and to say another example, in resident evil You See the Tyrants and in Resident evil Zero You also See a Prototype Tyrant that is also because of his less intelligent thinking and his less of finished Things He needed is it a very aggressiv Monster more than normal Tyrants and i think it is kinda the Same With the Scorpius Rex

Looking at the Skorpios Rex, it's easy to see some of the dinosaur genomes that went into it. It has the sickle-shaped claw on each hind foot like a dromaeosaur (or raptor, as we more commonly call them), and its head is reminiscent of the Abelisaurs (those like Carnotaurus and Majungasaurus).
Well officially Scorpios rex is made of T rex, Velociraptor and Carnotaurus
@@raptorblack2269 And a bit of scorpionfish, as well, as evidenced by the poisonous barbs.
I don’t know but his skull reminds me a lot of a pug. It feels like a weird mixture of a velociraptor and a monkey, which would also explain his extremely humanoid form during his scream and his sadistic behaviour
It's Albertosaurus x Deinonychus. Probably with other animal genes
@@sharkquark6252it actually has that disorder I think wiki’s say
Am I the only one who feel sympathy for this poor monster? I mean, she didn't ask to be created, and seeing how she's mishapen, has her teeth in disorder, a weird body, I have wondered if she's in pain of some sort. She is angry all the time, the poor thing has an unstable and unpredictable mind, like her body. While I did root for Darius and his friends to survive, I still felt sorry for the Scorpios Rex. It's not her fault that she was created as a hideous hybrid. Imagine being created as an abnormal creature no one likes, they call her ugly, and then freezes her down for simply being herself. Seeing how all of this was Dr. Wu's fault, she's not really the real villain in my opinion. Dr. Wu is. It also weird how the Scorpios Rex had a baby, only to hate and trying to kill her poor offspring, and the other way around. I'm not sure, but seeing how Darius looks very sad after sucessfully killing both hybrids, it looks like he felt sad about having to do so, as he loved dinosaurs more than anyone. Though it was neccessary, the group didn't take any pleasure in killing them.
I ❤ Scorpios Rex, I think they are kinda cute.
The Scorpius Rexes were not Dinosaurs, they were literally Monsters straight out of a horror movie who just want to kill everything in their path and themselves.
Scorpios Rex reminds me of those scrapped dinosaur/human hybrids for Jurassic Park 4. Hell, this thing kinda looks half human, example being the way it can stand on two legs, the chest having a human-ish appearance, the freakishly long arms, opposable thumbs, even its face. The face reminds me of the T-Rex/Human hybrid’s face with the short snout.
The roar of this thing even slightly sounds like a tortured human scream.
At least the Indoraptor and Indominus still relatively looked like dinosaurs/animals. The Scorpios Rex is an abomination of nature, something that shouldn’t have happened, and I love it!
