I'm so grateful for the video! I considered it to cover more ground when I am on my oxygen rebreather, but having heard them underwater, I don't know if I want to give it a go. I enjoy the quiet, low-tech nature of these dives and I think the noise would ruin that.
Thanks for your video and the clear, nice review!

I got same set up I packed 4 batteries on each travel, per dive 2 batteries takes 1 tank 48 minutes, less efforts kicking, 4 lbs of my weight off my belt, less air use, compact and powerful, I'm 160 lbs.. I could reach 55 minutes on a 35 ft just gliding at the bottom, safe to hold my depth during safe stop when current is strong, on unexpected current drift I could plan on saving power and air consumption.. I'm still a beginner and I don't go past 50 ft.. This is an amazing safety device for me and sure it's fun too... I use mostly here in Catalina Island California when at times current becomes unpredictable. Best to attach go pro.. Approx $ 1700 for the set kit dual is so worth it

I use two strapped to a 117 or 130 steel tank. I clip a throttle to my BCD. I like it for shore dives where I swim in a trench under the reef break.

I bought the twin setup S1's last year. I'm an not a SCUBA diver but a surfer/SUP guy and swim for fitness. I used the twin S1's with a Nemo hookah setup, this gave me the ability to breathe and swim underwater for more than an hour for the first time in my life. All without certification or a more expensive dive kit. I can also use the Booster Strap Kit with my Ameo Powerbreather for augmented swim/snorkeling adventures. Review is spot on in that a single S1 is a toy and that the double S1 setup is more a tool that technical divers can more appreciate. Build quality is better than you would think and I have no issues with my units, except the Bluetooth range of the trigger handle. With the S1's mounted on my thighs and the trigger in hand, the connection cuts out if you extend your hands forward, Superman style. This means I usually have to keep the trigger close to my crotch. I fashioned a deadman switch and attach the trigger to a lanyard and shove in my belt. On a paddleboard, a single S1 mounted underneath may not connect to a person standing up, this means it can only be used sitting or lying on the board. Overall it is a great addition to my kit that I use all summer at La Jolla, CA

Danke für den Test und die Erklärungen! Hatte auch schon überlegt, mir das Doppelpack zu holen und hatte dieselben Bedenken, daß es rausgeschmissenes Geld sein könnte.

Price is low because it’s made in China.

I didn't see a compass attached. Do the engines magnetic field deviated a compass?

How rugged are the seals? Anything electrical in the water needs to have redundant seals.

i bought a sea doo made one paid $600 for it 15 yrs ago bought 1 new battery so far and it pulls to 30M / 100' works great 3mph I think...kids have used it allot also - floats or is neutral depends what you put in (or remove) to the nose cone. mine is much larger than those and weighs 20 lb. Ill get a LiOn battery next time, will move it to close to 2 hr run time. says 1.5 hrs but it will do 50%.

I (probably) have the same scooter and had the same idea. Dont go for a lithium battery! It will ruin bouyancy of the scooter since it is designed for the lead battery which is much heavier. You cannot really compensate that by adding weight to the cone because the weight in the center is missing. And also the lithium battery shuts down completely when it reaches a certain (low) voltage while the lead battery still works until it is completly empty. Saves a lot of kicking and towing an useless scooter :D

LEFEET just sent me two S1 Pros. One is defective and cant be used. LEFEET has gone silent with me over the issue. They do not stand behind their brand new products. DONT BUY FROM LEFEET
