Now this is our native Indian bow,the 'B' shaped bow which is majority of ramayan and Mahabharat tv serials is composite bow which originated in steppes not in India.

What is the width of bamboo string
According to bamboo bow the bamboo string is taken... if the bow is 5'2" then the string should be 4'3". Here the string width is 4'2" approximately.
