Honestly it's nice to see a long video where you just camp. Too many videos out there need to have a reason to do a video. They don't realize how chill just camping can be.
I know I've said it about a thousand times Andy but you've found yourself a little slice of heaven on earth right there my friend 🙂
Very enjoyable! Thank you.
I like that most of his vids are done in the rain or snow. To me snow and rain camping is some of the funnest camping because you really have to get creative with the changing environment and adapt and overcome the weather. He makes it all look so easy.
It’s super interesting to watch.
I started camping in the woods and doing bushcraft because of your videos and I'm loving it. Great video mate.
Excellent, thank you. Hope you're enjoying it!
What is your channel? Would love to see new vids.
That's awesome I'm saving up for a hot tent and a tent stove my self but I'm in no hurry because today it was-13 Celsius and yesterday it was-24 I live in the North Eastern United States and it gets really cold here during the months of January and February but I'm hoping to have my tent and stove by March when it's a balmy zero degrees Celsius lol 😂

Impressive that you pitch a tent in all kinds of weather. Your love of the outdoors and Nature , that bring you peace , is a big payoff ❤️
I love these videos help with my depression!
Hi Leanne, really, there are good times to come when we will all be out in the wilds, forests and meadows of our beautiful country again....have you ever thought about considering a bushcraft course? You can go on a one day, two day and even 5 day courses, in a group out in the woods with instructors and so on. Maybe something to consider and look forward to perhaps?

Yes you are right 👍
Are used to go camping with my girls every summer for 10 days in the Adirondacks. It was always a great time and I so remember setting up in the rain. That wasn’t much fun but just being there with my children was great
I hear that intro music and I know I'm in for a good time and some very enjoyable evenings having a few ipas 🍺
I enjoy watching you build a wood shelter. Wish there was more videos like that.
Camping stews are just the best. Flavorful and easy. There's a reason why they show up in almost every cooking tradition.
Just finished watching Simon's new uploaded video. And here is Andy uploaded a new video too 👍👍👍🇵🇭
One would nearly think they discussed such things? 🤔😉
haha, it was my spot first, he's such a copy cat :p
Discussed or not, it's a perfect way to start the evening :D
Can you put the link please..?
I'm pretty new here, so when you say Simon, do you mean as in "Simon, a bloke in the woods"? Just watched the video of the SimonI thought you might be referring to. 😊
Nice one, for what it’s worth here in Quebec we had -21C last night and are expecting the storm hitting Boston, but been toying with hot tenting for a while, has to be warmer than a hammock
I'm not to much for watching cooking channels, but watching bushcrafters cook a meal out in the field I really enjoy it. Not to mention coffee time.
I feel like Andy does read his viewer's comments. Another talking video,I love it. Thanks Andy
I do like the silent ones as well, it’s sympathetic to his environment he’s in.
I prefer talking as well.
You seem relaxed and happy! Love that stove. 5-star stew!! Will send snow. 😉👌🇨🇦🔥
Beautiful video! Peaceful to watch
Nothing beats a Bacon, Egg & Cheese sammy on a chilled camp mornin.
I remember bacon with small round white costal cartilage in it as a kid, Never seen it since. Keep em coming Andy! 👍🏻
Long time ago.I think smaller pigs
Good job
Nice vid. How you find somewhere remote enough so you don't get beaten up by crackheads while asleep always cheers me up
I believe he is camping 🏕️ on private property that he has permission to be on, that probably cuts down on unwanted company…but only my opinion, I like how he always improves and manages the property, that maybe how he has access.
I absolutely love your videos....talking or not! They are a nice thing to look forward to during these cloudy, cold and wet/snowy days here in the midwest USA. Thanks for sharing and as always I am waiting with anticipation for your next adventure.
Nice 👍 video to watch
I feel the same -45° wi dchill at Christmas 2022
One of the most wholesome things on YT
Hi I live near Toronto Ontario Canada and just found your videos about 3 weeks ago and I love them I have a mobility issue and you certainly help pass my time. Plz keep the videos coming …I especially love it when you cook those meals there not be any means campfire dinners thank you

That was understandable. I agree. One of my favorite parts of watching his videos is the camp cooking.
I agree. His calm and friendly manner is warm and honest and feels like an invitation to join him and learn from him.
Admire him
Your English seems good to me. I understood everything you said.
@@elainelee7250 🙏
The stack on the woodpile looks like it took some time!!!
This guy taught me how to cook with or without in the woods lol.
Yes 👍
Without what, without woods?
@@inderjeetsingh7458 without IN the woods
Andy should most definitely have his own wilderness cooking show.
That would be epic 🙂
I live in the mountains of Tennessee and we don't have enough snow here for me. Mild winters for several years now, I love the snow!
You have no idea that your videos are so relaxing and its helps me to calm my mind from depression and anxiety. my thoughts driving me into positive sense that this world is beautiful and adventure place and i should live for every moment. thank you for making such relaxing videos. god bless u brother.
Thanks for your kind words, Im glad to hear people can live vicariously through my videos and bring in a bit of the outdoors :)
This looks absolutely heavenly. Very envious of your peaceful, beautiful night and now feeling peckish for a bacon and egg sarnie 😁 this is the first of your vids I've seen, but will watch more. Thank you.
I just started watching this channel about a week ago. This is only about the 3rd video I've seen. I did get up & fix bacon & eggs after this one. LOL.
😊🥓🥓🍳🍳
@@TheRealLadyAlex hah! Love that. I was already in bed 😁
If you've got time to binge watch and catch up, you're in for a treat!
@@todaysworldjw I've just been going thru some previous videos and I don't know where to start! 😳 I don't know what to watch first! LOL. 😆
@@TheRealLadyAlex Lol 😂 I recommend the Swedish canoe trip series with Simon, a bloke in the woods, very enjoyable, as well as all of the rock cooking videos 😀👍
I'm with you Andy, I prefer winter camping to summer. You can enjoy the fire more and no mosquitos to deal with!!! Thanks for your videos.
Yes in winter is cold the best to go camping
something that I add to a stew is pearl barley
Hey man...I like u style cooking seriously man..... u are my man.....👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The patter of rainfall on tent material. So soothing.
I've only ever been camping once - in a small tent in the freezing cold - your tent looks smashing - the food excellent!
Andy I would send you some snow from southern Wisconsin, but, it probably melt. We've had 20 inches so far this month with 5 to 8 inches coming down right now. Guess what I'm doing tomorrow 🤪. Love your content.
Great video Andy. If you would like a hearty stew you should try making Portuguese bean stew. It has churico, smoked back bacon sautéed with minced onions, garlic, red pepper paste( spicy or sweet) and then you add some red wine , a bit of water and red kidney beans and simmer. We add cubed potatoes like my mother-in-law does to hers. It’s a filling hearty meal that sticks to the bones
It’s all good. I enjoyed the video n glad u took us out
Love the trees with moss on the trunks!! So peaceful
I love wild garlic - and yes the smell is redolent of Spring. When you smell it then you are aware its the dawn of another Spring then Summer ...................something to look forward too
Great channel. Greetings from Poland 🙂
Thank you very much
I love that tent and stove setup. Looks properly cozy. 👍
Something quite enchanting about that sound when our kid commences the wood chopping.
Very enjoyable Andy signs of spring already with the wild garlic coming up.
Yeah very calm video
Love your old lady's umbrella! 😆
Never mind about the lack of snow, was worth watching for that lovely bit of bacon at the end.
Really enjoy watching
👌👍👌👍.. sorry you didn't get your snow.. you still gave us a good viewing. THANK YOU.
Andy you always the best.Keep doing my friend.

@@ThydaCookingTV That they are. I'm in. New Zealand and hopefully going in the bush next weekend. I'll be using some of the things Andy has shown us. Mainly fire skills and cooking 😜

Great video .from Trinidad an just loving it keep it up thanks
I’ve watched a few of your videos now and they are so well put together! So relaxing to watch, I look forward to new ones 👍💪👊
Enjoyable video thanks Cheers Rob
I think I’d try burning a dura flame log for the night time while I’m asleep, because they last for like 4 to 5 or even 6 hours.
But I don’t totally know if they’d fit in that stove. They aren’t super big but the stove isn’t all that big either.
My friend from years ago would make us breakfast buns from XL Kaiser buns filled with bacon and a sunny side up egg. Great to sop up the egg yolk while munching down his one egg wonder sandwich
Good to see the Woodlander stove being used in the Pomoly tent, was curious as to whether anyone had tried it. Great video as always. Cheers
Came out of the recommended by 1:30 AM. Now, I'm hungry. :(
Here's me watching at 3 am thinking...I should probably have breakfast 😅
when you start the oven at night time .. lol
Andy's a proper git for convincing my brain that I need to eat more food.
This is one of your best videos yet Kent. That stew looked very tasty.
👍🇨🇦

Thank you Cynthia :) apologies for the lack of snow haha
Your videos are very soothing And relaxing... Thanks bro for keeping me relaxed in through my exam pressure 😊😊😊😊🇮🇳
Thank you, and good luck!
I'm the same as you Andy. I live in North Georgia the southern part of America and we don't get snow every year either. But when we do you can believe we are out in it.Great video Andy!
What part ya from?
Awesome job on the stew....I knew you knew what you were doing when you added the dusted meat and stock cubes. Of course, being from Louisiana I would have to heap it up on some rice.....the real staff of life. Love the tent and stove. Man...a bacon and ham sammich....breakfast of champions. No shelter building .....just camping is fine. Thank you for sharing.
New subscriber from Puerto Rico island love your videos ❤
Even with no snow. Great camp. I quite enjoyed that rain at tte start. This video was two of my most favourite things.....the outdoors and cooking. The was a really cosy set up...and the stew looked super delicious. Oh and I could almost tates that old fashion bacon and egg sandwich. Perfection all round. 👍

Bringing one of those wood blocks with you is a smashing idea 💡🙂
I own the same stove, I put gasketing around the door. Then improve the performance quite a bit.
Watching a fire is like nature’s TV 👍 Great Video 💪

Great video Andy! My favourite kind! Proper camp out Woodstove and bacon. If LOVE to try that! Looks so atmospheric and cosy.
A bit of beer and puts more beer than water lol nice kent 👍

Thanks for taking us camping with you! I could smell that smoked bacon 😁
How rewarding
Love the talking videos, the cooking and using the tent stoves👍👍👍
Hi Andy,
I have a question:
It seems like you know quite a lot about wild edible plants, herbels and mushrooms. Would you like to make a video where you look for it and then use especially that stuff with cooking? I want to learn more about it.
Would be awsome!
Kind regards,
Gerdien from the Netherlands
Wild Foods UK channel, with Marlow Renton. They also do a field guide book, which is really good called Foraging a pocket guide. Check them out they do exactly that, find and then cook what they find.
Just finished watching Simon's awesome video , you do filming awesome videos Andy thanks for sharing your videos take care.
Thank you Andrew :)
Hi Andy. That wood shed is sure proving its worth.

That silver interior really seems to light the place up nicely. I need to try some of your recipes. The missus made pork chops but my mouth was still watering. Good one, sir.

Very nice. Thanks
I'm so glad you do this stuff. Saves me doing it. I'm just too lazy.
Can't go wrong with a Dutch Oven!.
Enjoyed the camping experience and cooking up some delicious looking meals. I love the wood stove you used. This will be on my shopping list for the winter camping season. Nothing like a nice wood stove to cozy things up a bit!
