Hi Lauren:) my name is Cassi. I'm friends with a couple old friends of yours, Maddie Garcia and Audrey Meadows. For the past few years I've gone through some ridiculous and dark places, made some very bad choices, and am still going through extreme attacks from the enemy regarding my past. A few months ago I had slipped back into my old mentality and Maddie happened to be in the car with me while I was explaining all the reasons I wanted to give up...she then pulled up your song "How can it be". I don't think you can understand how God moved me using this song. He gifted you with an amazing talent and gave you these words to sing for, if no one else, me. Social Workers got involved and took my kids...my wife left me and I am lonely ...I gave my life to God and started attending church...people have seen the difference in my living including my wife....the case will end in January and my wife has told me that she will take me back....Amen!!!

I lost my 7 months baby to stillbirth. I still remember that day as if it was yesterday. Not being able to hear my baby's cry for the first time still pains me a lot. I am still in the process of acceptance and healing and I pray and hope for the best. Listening to this song gives me so much hope and peace. God loves us all and no matter what He will never leave us. I pray that He will be with everyone who's depressed and doesn't know what's next in their lives. I pray that He may open great doors for all of us and be with us throughout our life journey. After visiting Jesus at my catholic church in front of the tabernacle during the 3 o clock hour. I had tears because of me and my family's many problems including my health issues. I left, entered my car, the radio was already on and this song was playing. I never heard the song before and as soon as I entered the car it was the part of you heard my cry. I almost never have cry at church so this was surely a sign. By the grace of God, over time things have gotten better!

I'm really having a hard time in life. My fiance and I broke up, just lost my job , and housing and food came with job. Worst part is it was a church job and I feel like giving up on the idea of ft ministry and just going bsck to construction. Feeling so overwhelmed and tired. I was just driving home and this song started playing in my mind so I looked it up and listened to it as I sank inside driving. Then tears were flowing and now I'm listening to it again trying to remind myself of Gods past faithfulness when it seemed my life was over.

I gave my life to Jesus when I was 15 like you. God has since set me free me from depression, when it was the worst I started crying out to him, seeking him and encouraging myself with Bible verses. He has plans of hope for you (Jeremiah 29:11), his love for you is eternal (Jeremiah 31:3) 😊
Remember that God will be always with you. He will never let you down or forget you. Believe in this. Try to win this depression, I know that's hard, talk to your parents about it if possible. Remember that God will be always next to you. He gave his only son to give us the life as a way to show his everlasting love for all of us. He doesn't wanna see us sad. He wants the better for all of us. It's hard to lose someone that you love principally when you are going through a depression, but also remember that most of the times we don't get God's plans, but they are better than ours. Amazing song! It is a song I have listened to a lot recently as well as many of Lauren's other songs. Our 3 year old daughter just finished cancer treatment and got news that she's free of cancer! Now we recently had to have a surgery done on our 2 year old son to see if he has lymphoma (a type of cancer) (our daughter had stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma). We have seen amazing things happen last year in our daughters treatment, seen her overcome some very tough things and we have God to thank for that! Now being faced with a the possibility that we will have a second cancer diagnosis in one of our other children we have been blessed with has been really difficult. Add covid 19 into the mix and it's just very overwhelming. Thank you for the beautiful songs Lauren! They help ground me when I feel so out of control.❤

But I understand where you're coming from--it's easy to get sold into the business of it all and performance. But Lauren's pretty talented and she's using that gift for the right reasons, which takes strength.
