I demand more of this type of content from Fox Soul! I already like this network and am very happy it's doing well but having more if this type of content would make this channel amazing for me.

OMG! This is absolutely correct. The gentrification here in Atlanta is absolutely horrible, so many people are being forced out of their homes, with no vouchers or anywhere to go. But, on the flip side it has allowed the neighborhood property values to go up & provides an increase in tax for the city.

Yes, zone 6 memorial drive headed towards downtown has changed big time. It looks good don't get me wrong new townhomes, restaurants, movie theatre all good but where are all the people who use to live there? 🤔

This is what happens. I saw it coming. One group will move the other due to cost. In NYC and Los Angeles 600k gets you gunshots. In GA you can live well for that. The Best thing people in Atlanta can do is buy up Anything they can afford before it's too late. Techwood Homes was downtown and now you wouldn't even know. Atlanta is a beautiful city that offers a lot so people will keep coming and bringing their money.

Honestly, the entire Metro Atl has become extremely expensive. Clarkson prices is higher, E. ATL, Kirkwood, Tucker, Decatur....I worked at DeKalb Board of Health for two years in Decatur. Our office & TO Vinson across the street is the health depth in that area. About 4 years ago, they started tearing down buildings, church's and began building Sprouts, Whole Foods, new restaurants, hotel and multi level apartments probably 2k a month and higher. The people who needed the services from the health department had to move because the area has become to expensive to rent or buy. No one in my office even lived in Decatur because it was too high for our paycheck and we have bachelor's & master's degrees. We all live in the outskirts. It's ridiculous.

I agree even south the south Atlanta area like Cleveland and metropolitan, one of the areas they said they wasn’t really focused on at this time has a huge increase in rent and you’re going to start seeing a big difference in that area in upcoming months.

It can be stop by simply classifying a neighborhood/area as affordable on top of making sure that making sure that 20-35% of new up scale apartments/condos are affordable

@@javionriley8739 Also just increasing supply and density as well along with what you said. So surprising there aren't more mid and highrises going up in such an 'international city' like Atlanta. This will also help curb the unsustainable sprawl that is hurting everybody and eating up land and not giving anybody any reliable transit options. Moreover, more apartments and condos need to be constructed as well. Minneapolis is actually leading the way nationally on this issue.

I been in middle ga since 2010 and before Covid I seen atl economy change and trickle down to us of course but sense Covid and this new revamping Ga atl is getting more crowded and of course here in middle ga we getting more people coming down here but I feel like Ga as a whole is been slow with building up our economy, with schools , land and of course roads , our roads and building new bridges in atl are building slow and Ga just now properly after the Olympics came to Atlanta I think and see that we just now know what to do… but ga as a whole just plopping franchises up just because it brings in quick money, for instance fast food, we don’t need all that, we need more hospitals, schools and etc
