    Awesome review! I've ruled out the I-stubble and I'm currently looking into the 5100 now since it's more geared towards getting hair pretty low. Thanks for the help!

    Hi. Can you review the super stubble XTP. It’s made by VS Sassoon in Australia. Babyliss also has a version of the XTP. I think they are made by Conair. It’s similar to the istubble however has Li ion battery, 2 combs which means it can cut from 0.4-10mm and is fully waterproof.

      @GroomReviews  6 лет назад

      Hi, John. Thank you for your suggestion of the super stubble XTP. The Conair Super stubble is the version I see available here in the US, however this device only goes up to 5mm, just as the regular I-Stubble unit. It does have a Lithium-Ion battery, but it's priced at around $90 on Amazon. At that price and the same sizing capability, the Philips Norelco Series 5100 is going to be the better deal. Thanks, again, for watching and your support of the channel. All the best!

      The Australian version of the super stubble has a second comb which increases the trim length to 10mm. Bought it for $99 in Australia. The Philips 5205 is $59 at the moment. Might consider picking one up as a second trimmer.

    For trimming on the lower settings, i.e. 0.4mm, which one do you recommend: Conair i-Stubble or Phillips Norelco Series 5100 (or the Series 5000, the newest version)? Or the Wahl Lithion Ion trimmer 9818? Which one is more efficient at cutting and more powerful overall? Which one will do a nice trim of the side burns, jaw and necklines without the guard? I’m looking for a trimmer just for short stubble. Thanks in advance!

    • @GroomReviews
      @GroomReviews  5 лет назад

      Hi, Adamas. If you haven't already, check out my video on the Philips Norelco Beard Trimmer 5500 vs Series 5100 seen here: ruclips.net/video/aSEF_AOenW8/видео.html. Either of these two trimmers would be my recommendation for cutting at lower increment settings as they both start at 0.4mm and increase in 0.2mm settings up to I believe 2mm. The Beard Trimmer 5500 (amzn.to/2K6O3Z5) is the latest model of the Series 5100 (amzn.to/2HVOLps), however, I recommend taking a look at the designs I compare in the video, as well as the guards, to see what has changed from one version to the next and determine what you think would work best for you. Both are very efficient, with great power and battery life. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!

    So which one would you recommend? I really need a good one but I chant decide and been looking would my money's be worth it with the Phillips Norelco 5100?

    • @GroomReviews
      @GroomReviews  5 лет назад +1

      Hi, Deacon St. John. For precision beard trimming, I still recommend the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 (amzn.to/2VHSZK6), which you can see in my video review here: ruclips.net/video/eFn0Si1Bmyc/видео.html. If your goal is a stubble finish at a tight increment length setting, then I recommend checking out my video on the Philips Beard Trimmer 5500 seen here: ruclips.net/video/aSEF_AOenW8/видео.html. The 5500 is an upgraded model of the Series 5100 and I compare both in this video that I put out a few weeks ago. Of the trimmers I have reviewed to-date, the Multigroom 7000 is one of the better performers for precision on the beard. I've received much positive feedback from the community on its performance and it has continued to hold a very positive 4.6 out of 5.0 star review rating on Amazon. The Multigroom 7000 comes with the pieces needed for creating crisp, uniform looks that are absent with the 5500 and Series 5100, and depending on the size of your beard, you can interchange the beard and hair guards to trim at longer lengths or get down to that stubble look. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!

    Great video as always. Keep it up :) Oh, and i recently replaced my philips oneblade with a Remington durablade, which is almost the same, except that you don't have to change the blades for 5 years. Could you make a review/ compare the two? Thanks.

    i stubble or super stubble xtp?

    • @GroomReviews
      @GroomReviews  5 лет назад

      Hi, funk3y. I have not had a chance to review the Super Stubble XTP and cannot provide an accurate assessment of its performance until using. That said, of the stubble trimmers that I have reviewed to-date, the Philips Norelco Series 5100 Beard and Head Trimmer - Model BT5210 would be my top recommendation. You can find my review of the Series 5100 here: ruclips.net/video/5VGv_VHF708/видео.html. I also have a video comparing the Series 5100 to the Braun BT3040 here: ruclips.net/video/GxkfA1xdz4I/видео.html. Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community! All the best!

    Wow great review!!!
    I'm actually having a hard time looking for a great stubble trimmer. Overall which one would you recommend?
    I was looking into Philips Noreclo One blade, but I don't want to replace the head every 3-4 months...
    In actually looking into to buy the Philips 5100 thanks to your review! Would you recommend that or another one instead? :)
    Also is the link for the Philips 5100 correct? I keep getting redirected to the 3000 series :D

      Hi, Moses. Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I greatly appreciate it. . If you haven't already, take a look at my video on the Beard Trimmer 5500 (amzn.to/2MBsxNM) vs Series 5100 Beard and Head Trimmer (amzn.to/2JVgQQa) seen here: ruclips.net/video/aSEF_AOenW8/видео.html. The 5500 is actually the next version of the 5100 and may be of interest to you. Either way, both of these stubble trimmers are great options. The increment settings go as low as 0.4mm and adjust in 0.2mm increments through many settings. Check out the video and let me know if this is something that could work for you. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
