You are correct, In Armenia, the Tandoor is called Tonir and was originally designed by ancient Armenians to resemble and symbolize the sun deity of their Pagan culture at the time.

Armenian customs and traditions looks very similar to Pashtuns

Agreed, Armenia and Pashtun regions (in Afghanistan and Pakistan) share several landscape similarities:
Mountainous Terrain: Both areas are dominated by rugged mountains. Armenia has the Armenian Highlands and Mount Ararat, while Pashtun regions feature the Hindu Kush and Sulaimon Mountains.
Natural Beauty: Both regions boast stunning natural scenery. Armenia has rolling hills, forests, and Lake Sevan, whereas the Pashtun areas are known for their picturesque valleys, dramatic mountain vistas, and flowing rivers.
Climate Variety: They experience diverse climates, ranging from arid and semi-arid zones to temperate and alpine conditions in higher altitudes.
Rural and Agricultural Land: Both Armenia and the Pashtun regions have extensive rural areas with traditional farming practices, including terraced farming in the mountains and various crops cultivated in the valleys.
So, despite cultural and historical differences, Armenia and Pashtun regions share common features like mountainous landscapes, natural beauty, climate diversity, and rural agricultural land.😃
