+Misclick It's called a subgenre. If you don't like it, then keep searching for trance like Darren Porter or something. I love the old classic trance style and the varieties of this genre. Like progressive. I understand the interesting parts of nearly every (sub)genre. Maybe you should try to find some understanding as well.
🙌👏👏

veeeengaaaaaaa my friend! xD
I have some Questions about EDM, hopefully somebody here can give me some answers.
First: How are Remixes done? Is there a specific Remix Audio that you can get if you ask for making a remix at the label that released the track, or can you just buy the Song at Beatport/iTunes/Google Play or so? But then I don't understand how thats done because Beatport say in their Terms of Use, that the Songs bought there are only for private Usage. So: where can I get songs to make remixes of them?
Second: where do DJs get the music they DJ with from? As i said above, the Terms of Use at Beatport say, only for private use. Probably it's not different at iTunes or Google Play. But as a DJ you clearly play for more people as that could be "private use" anymore. So, where do the Trance Acts, and also the House/DnB/Hardstyle DJs get their music from?
If it's an official remix they get stuff like the project files of the original song or the a capella version from the label.
For unofficial remixes (bootlegs) they either crop out the parts of the original song they want to use and use filters to eliminate the background sound, or use unofficial a capella versions you can find on some websites.
Of course a special license is required to play music in public but often that license doesn't have to be purchased by the dj and is supplied by the club/festival/etc. instead..
So then, what if I want to release a self made bootleg. Is there something illegal? Becaue if I use an Accapella or song from GPlay, iTunes or Beatport, it's only for private use. Otherwise, should I get in contact with a label via contact-Email or something like that on the label's website or Social-Network?
Jadien Music according to my lawyer if you are adding something new, then it is your creation. im sure fabio got the project files because hes buddies with day din :p
