    Great video but Lamar has had a revolving door of receivers that wouldn't start on any other team . The deep ball takes QB and receiver being on the same page . IF yiu watched more tape . Hollywood Brown and Lamar where always connecting on deep passes and even when Hollywood dropped them they where right in the bread basket. Greg Roman the run game coordinator trying to call a passing offense used any receiver to catch a deep pass. That catch takes skill and a receiver that knows how to track a ball . Demarcus Robinson and Lamar missed on two deep passes in the same game. But in that game he threw to DeShawn Jackson and he came down with it . Because that's his strength as a receiver. Since Hollywood went to the Arizona cardinals, Bateman has been hurt , Duvernay was hurt , and Andrew's last season he had Sammy watkins and DeShawn Jackson on the field. Lamars peers have their number one elite receivers and are able to be on the same page and gain chemistry and trust . Lamar didn't have that same luxury. Even though Lamar can work on the deep pass every QB has something to work on. I've seen this topic way too many times lately. Lamar is the only QB that gets his game dissected so closely. 😊

      Absolutely agree !
      Also, if I had any QB in the NFL who had fundamentals that needed to be worked on, I would want it to be Lamar ! Dude is one of the most self-motivated, hardest working, down to earth guy's you could ask to lead your team ! In South Florida, hot sun in the middle of summer, working out on sand with one of his newest receiver's !
      I'd bet $1 Josh and Joe aren't !

    I think we'll see the perfect storm in Baltimore, again !
    My prediction, with new O coordinator, receiver's, and a fairly good O line, Lamar goes off this year, better year than 2019 !
    Unanimous MVP won't quite do it for LJ...
    He's bringin the Superbowl MVP ! 🏆

      Looking forward to it!
      I think Jackson doesn’t get talked about enough for his ability to read the game and make good decisions - once his actual throwing catches up to him, he’s gonna be absolutely lethal, more so than he already has been.
      I’m a big Lamar fan. I think he’s an automatic floor raiser; he’s a step or two away from being a more undeniable ceiling raiser.

      @choosecarefully408 Год назад

      @@footballdoesntmatter Agreed. In fact, what makes no sense is that his Own Team started the narratives that Lamar had any shortcomings to justify "needing" Greg Roman to fix them. Can you imagine Bill Bellichick telling media *& opposing teams* what Mac Jones' weaknesses were? No college would hire him after all NFL teams would consider him diseased.
      I honestly think the Ravens intentionally acted to undermine his chances of netting a contract & now that continuing can only harm themselves they stopped. But even their trainer Steve Saunders may have been part of the effort.
      Statistically, Ravens players, especially offensive ones stayed out longer than players on other teams with the same injuries. It had started becoming a casually accepted fact that people on podcasts mentioned as if everyone knew.
      So yeah, he's still 26, in his prime, is MVP-calibre & has dealt with more adversity than anyone should have to & survived plus now the barriers have been removed. I _expect_ the Ravens to win the AFC so long as nothing else comes up to preclude it.
      But don't get hung up on trying to change the minds of people in the comments. There's a whole lot of psychology involved in how society reveres sports figures, franchises, politicians & authority figures in general. Why does anyone think Bailey Zappe sucks & Mac Jones is great when Zappe had The Best Two Games for the Pats last season? Because The Emperor Said that Jones was the QB of the future.
      The Zappe hate in the comments sections started the same day.

    Great video and a nice analysis especially good mark on Lamar’s abilities to throw when scrambling.
    If Ravens gonna play more passing oriented attack, Lamar should learn to stay in the pocket. Most of the times he just hurry up to break the pocket unnecessarily thus getting in situations where he must throw on the run.
    Or eventual run the ball of himself.
    It will be really interesting to see him in more spread offences and passing plays.

    • @dreesdog7
      @dreesdog7 Год назад +4

      You can't be a Ravens fan. He has not once broken the picket unnecessarily. He has been the playmaking offense. There is a difference. Before Baye go hurt last year, there were games. He had open field to run, and he chose to pass. If you were paying attention, you would've learned that each time he was hurt was from inside the pocket. Not one of his so-called unnecessary runs. Last season, Josh Allen ran almost twice as much as Lamar and no one noticed I guess.
