Got here to find out that I m not the one, who discovered this song so addictive! 20 years ago, when first played TLJ. Man, how the life had changed, but still love it much
Once I started playing this game, I would go to the cafe and pick one of the songs to work or sleep to, then alt tab away. Absolutely beautiful and very good for work/reading/sleep. So glad this playlist exists. Tried going into the games files structure to grab the music files, but its just a mess of .ovs and .xarc files...
I honestly did the same thing. Looks like this particular bar had some regulars alright! I used to refer to this game for a long time as a perfect example of video games as art. It was truly one of a kind
I absolutely ADORE this song! This, along with "Eagle", where the two songs through which I first discovered electronica (which is now my favorite genre), so many years ago :)
@@JesterGreenLeaf She's still out there, but things went so bad between us, she avoids me entirely. Like that girl on Black Mirror season 2 finale. Thanks, man. I need to build up courage to tackle my own longest journey...
@@ruffusgoodman4137 oh, sorry to hear that :( But I imagined something much worse, so I'm glad she's alive :) Alas, this kind of changes are unavoidable sometimes
@@JesterGreenLeaf True, once I reread my post I saw that meaning too. I think Longest Journey kinda taught me how to deal with this back then. Sometimes you gotta make a sacrifice so many people can benefit from it. Maybe it's better this way.
@vanillesossenchecker Oh yeah I'm into that as well, though I prefer to listen to Pink Floyd for that to be honest. And chillout sounds as well. Did you ever go back to the cave?

I used to hang at the bar while playing the game, just to listen to this.
I don't blame you, superb, I maybe one day start a cafe, and loop this music forever :D

Love since 1999
No point-and-click adventure can really get love-fondling memorable and nostalgic.
The Longest Journey: "Hold my beer..."
One of the best reflective, chill songs ever performed.
this whole soundtrack brought me to another world back when this game came out.

I discovered this song while I was engaged to a girl really into electronic music.
She's gone now. But I still got this song to remember me.
@@ruffusgoodman4137 I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope this track helps you preserve the time you shared
