You are so annoying Chris! There I was, resolved to avoid this new Shiny Object to feed my plugin addiction), until your video comes along 😂. In truth though, it's always tempting with Fracture Sounds, they develop such good products. My quandary is whether String Formations complements or crowds other owned libraries that work on similar territory, in particular Dan Keen's Soft String Textures, old favourite Arkhis, and even the string-focused patches found within Lores & Fables. There's always going to be some overlap I guess. And in defence of Fracture Sounds, they do seem to have got the subtle level of auto-generated articulations at the right level (creative but not intrusive). Hmm!
There’s definitely overlap. There are things we might notice that the average listener wouldn’t. The actual playing experience with the Fracture stuff is stellar
I agree that the articulations sound great and not overbearing. There are other libraries which try to accomplish articulation but really are restrictive in terms of end user creativity
Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!

A lovely instrement, albeit a bit pricey. I'll watch for when it goes on sale. Nice to have, but I already have a zillion string libraries.
