I've never had an orange rune drop. No contracts for weeks. My server market is bad for runes too. Very few and crazy expensive. So orange runes are never going to happen. Another stupid feature.
I'm from the server Worldstone. I saw this coming a month ago. Several clans from the top 10 shadow clans transferred servers in order to have a better chance of getting immortal reigns. Most of them were spenders, buying normal gems to compete in pvp. When they realized they couldn't outspend the 10k+ reso players with 10k+ secondary stats, they left. Since then, the buyers for normal gems have significantly decreased.
Runes and pet contracts have definately been nerfed. Contracts got nerfed a few months back. More shadow/ninja nerfs. I get maybe 1 pet contract a week. As for our market, Kincaid killed it along with the whole server. Server killer whales, Blizzard's favored class of players. Rest of us do not matter. Sapphires went from 400 to under 300 in a week, and are still trending down. For the first time in over a year, I am only running my main for gems. No point running alts unless you want to stockpile gems. It's not worth the time to farm them. And yup, when you lose ~300 players literally overnight, and close to 1000 players over 6 months, all legitimate spenders, and you only bring in 1 half clan of predatory sychophants and a few dozen 10k res whale pilots who help you throw RoE and Vigil, and all who buy their gems from Kincaids 50 plat per gem private gem buying/farming consortia - there are no LEGITIMATE players left to sustain the normal gem market. This is but another 'minor' detail Mr. W left out of his pro-pilot propaganda video, and a question that Echo is far too dim-witted to ask. Tho in another month or 2, once he finally catches on, he too will be bitching about Worldstone's completely dead market place. You know, just like he was before Worldstone etc got merged with what was our previously very healthy market. Even a dolt like him will figure this out eventually, fingers crossed. But maybe not, might be too many dots to connect. Gotta keep things simple for him.

Now I get 1/day tops, often 0. Rare and lego runes feel similar, the weeks they first released I got one every few days. I've found 1 rare in the last 2 months. I think the rune rate feels the same, but higher chance of being grey.
Apo contracts drop in specific time. Every half hour you get increased chance. Example 8:00 , 8:30 , 9:00 and so on Iff you wannt to farm contracts and have nothing to do at this specific time i sugest you to do a quick abyssall verge run focusing on orange elites they always spawn at the same places. By doing this method you gain both weekly gems,increase contract drops(works tested myself) and also after you collect 10 shards you can get a rune from Rayek
I farm pet contracts in areban and this week only 1 contract. usually I had 8-9. each week. I got only 2 orange rune for all the time. I got more then 1000 runes but only 2 orange. for last 2 month zero yellow rune
Our market is better for Aquamarine's and Sapphires. Around 290-300 platinum each. Citrines and Topaz's are going for ~160-190 plat roughly. Completely agree that we need a new method to make platinum, the grind is getting harder for low spenders and f2p with the market prices dropping.
Angiris Council server cluster and I can confirm the market is essentially dead... nothing sells as it could an drop rates are basically a joke at this point... Running tower purification with nothing but elites, yellows and blues and still nothing but grey and blue runes, maybe the occasional yellow (and that's already cause for celebration at this point)
Apollyon - suggest to the devs a bot that will purchase items that don’t sell. Some games do this to sustain the markets. Not saying buy at max but at least average.
Here the market is dead. Sapphires here cost an average of 100 plat, most legendary gems are at minimum price and the drop/quality of runes is so bad that most are locked at minimum price and don't change. Since the update of pets, many people have simply given up selling because they cannot assemble commercial pets. Those who have platinum now save it only to buy crests in the hope of getting a good gem. Some f2p friends have stuck in progress.
For me not only rune, normal gem also really bad drop chance, running 2 TR only get 5 normal gem, WTF? I’m not gonna wasting my time for that… and been identify 100+ leg per week, only 2 upgrade… LOL…
Ya, ive been living that large for months now. I typically need 3 rifts for 12 daily gems. Some days, I still cant cap after 4 rifts and running dungeons. It's intermittant tho. And very frustrating. You cannot consistently anticipate your time in the game. 2 sundays ago, 8 rifts for 24 gems. Just wtf? Everyone else I was farming with capped 3 accounts for 36 gems. Since they were capping under 1k res accounts, and I am 4K res, it's NOT a magic find issue. I was so pissed off, I logged out for the rest of the day.

While in reality this game is a mobile game which people casually login, farm objectives, get progression, have fun then log off during their spare time on work, commuter, cafe or their home. No wonder alot of ppl leaving this game, since they didnt feel rewarding enough of their time playing this game. Why blizz is so worry people over farm? they already capped everything in this game. Just give us 12 normal gem easily, it won't hurt so much for this game and it boost engagement for this game also. In the end of the day, they already softcap matchmaking to 60+% winrate on BG so why? LOL
Same situation we have, on one of EU servers I play. It is nearly impossible to sell any thing. Drop rate of familliar contracts, and orange runes for sure been nerfed. The last orange rune, I had easly over 3 months ago. Familliar contract, about three to four weeks. Don't understand whats the point, to implement or improve some systems in game, when we can't use them?!
I find them pretty effective. You get permanent additional skills/ increased stats, compared to some small amount of resonance of gems. I have a problem with runes because if you buy one for a specific slot, any great drop for this slot can become a big disappointment if the rune is not tradeable. Because of this i do not buy so many high priced runes.
Havent gotten a pet voucher drop since the update before the last one. And runes.......dont make me laugh. Ive had to upgrade all of my grey/blue runes to yellow/orange runes. However I play more than the average player does soooo. Save me RNG-sus 🙏

Its intentional. They need people to spend money and whales have already been milked. Thats why they are going hard with cosmetics and events.
😂On my server, sapphires cost 110 platinum and other gems cost 50 platinum. Legendary runes and pet contracts are also hard to get.
