I once was addicted to many drugs but now I'm addicted to Jesus. This is my favorite hymn.
I got saved december 5th 2020. I was saved before at 15, i'm 20 now, but i left the lord and lived in a world of sin for over 5 years. Then the Lord began to speak to me again bc i started getting a little afraid with how bad the world is getting and one day the devil just started pounding me and kept telling me it was too late and i was eternally damned and i believed him. I believed i was on my way to hell, but one my second break at work, i called my grandma, who is not just the Godliest woman, but the Godliest person i know and i asked her to pray for me, as i yold her how i was feeling, but she told me it wasn't too late, as those were all just lies from the devil and that God was trying to talk to me and i begsn crying as i spoke about my sinful past. After i hung up, i had never felt so happy in all my life. I'm still serving Jesus and there's been days harder thsn others, but i will never go back out into the world. I have VICTORY IN JESUS and I'm never going back! AMEN!

Ive heard this song back in my teens at a YFC gathering by a team from The USA. It was a beautiful time just encountering for the first time Salvation in Jesus Christ. Im now in my sixties and still feel that first time That I heard this song. Its stuck and its lyrics reaches my soul and I feel the conviction. Thank you for such talent and God given gift to the one who wrote it and those who sang and are still singing it. 10/2/21; Went on vac. for 2 weeks.
Somewhere along the way I let the devil take over. I had prayed to the Lord before we left to keep me strong from the devil's ways, but went ahead anyhow and joined in with my family and did things that I had accomplished thro our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ( nothing illegal)
I have been home for a couple of days just totally emotional.This morning I got up and prayed to our Lord for forgiveness and asked Holy Spirit to help me get back to where I was before I went on vac. This song definitely was what i needed to hear,
