The cracking sound in HBK vs Taker was the camera breaking, not a person breaking.
I actually brought it up in one of your more recent vids, but one of the most gruesome wrestling accidents that comes to mind for me is Sid Vicious practically _snapping his leg in half_ from a botched stunt during the WCW Sin PPV in 2001. There are videos of the injury floating around, but.... well, needless to say, those with weak stomachs need not apply. 😬
Duece was actually rebranded as Slim snuka just before this incident but was immediately fired for failing his one job. He left WWE and hasn’t been even in a ring since. His name hasn’t even shown up on the independent circuit either. Deuce is actually the older brother of Tamina who just retired from wrestling due to family reasons and she is getting older and can’t really fly around the ring as she once could. Deuce was trained as a ground wrestler using his weight to his advantage while the much lighter tamina was trained more as a high flyer using the ropes and moving fast around the ring but they still use the family moves that are so important that they are passed down.

Seems harsh as he was side by side with Shawn Michaels. It was Undertaker falling short with his jump that caused the botch.
@@KylesWorldChamp91Correct, and they never should have broken up Deuce &:Domino (with Cherry as their manager) as a tag team. They had a cool gimmick that sort of reminded me of Arthur “The Fonz” Fonzarelli (Henry Winkler) on _Happy Days_ .
Sting used be lowered from the ceiling a lot in his WCW days, especially during his "Silent Sting" gimmick. It was dramatic but slow, and he either had to stay tethered to the line, limiting his mobility, or flail sround trying to disconnect as soon as he landed, which detracted from the entrance a bit.
The botched slam on Big E that injured his neck should be mentioned. He was fortunate enough to not have nerve damage, but it certainly seems it ended his in-ring career. I heard he is working in WWE talent development.
I am surprised you didn't know about Owen Hart.
The most forgettable moment in wrestling history maybe? 🤷♂️ The Hart's are a skid mark on wrestling history.

Another superstar you need to know about are the tag team of The Road Warriors / Legion of Doom, in WWE History the are considered one of the top tag teams that ever existed.
they did use a zipline for Logan Paul's entrance in last year's WrestleMania but it was pretty safe

actually buns logan paul used a zip line entrance for this past years wrestlemania, i mean its a special show so i guess its understandable and logan is a bit of a daredevil too, but still its so sad about owen, far too short of a life, a great wrestler and man
HBK & HHH should have been fired on the spot. Owen only died because Vince refused to use his usual rigging team-even when the head of it offered to do it for half price to ensure Owen's safety, instead Vince used equipment designed for non-human use & they cut the safety back-ups off to make it 'go smoother' the only good thing was that there was supposed to be a mini wrestler Owen would be lowered down with, but Owen talked them out of it & so saved that persons life.

11:50 the rope they used was not the rope/wire they were supposed to use, and the WWE team were not trained professionally for those type of stunts. Vince & WWF at the time should had never done that stunt. Its the reason Sting in WCW stopped using it, out of respect for Owen.
"all he had to do was catch the undertaker" yeah, just "catch" a 300 pound man / phenom who is flying through the air, easy peasy.. he also had a camera in his hand and was pulled off balance by hbk. I wouldn't completely fault him for that, it should have been planned better really.

I know Logan Paul used a zipline, I think at Mania, but I also remember it took him three or four minutes to get unhooked from the safety harness. Owen had a QUICK RELEASE for a pratfall.

The curtain call is a major incident in wrestling that broke the stereotype of kayfabe. It really got Vince angry and the anger fell on one person Triple H. He went on a yearlong losing streak with the stone cold king of the ring speech coming out of that. Triple H finally got a win in January the next year against a jobber and had to slowly rise up again starting the evolution stable with ric flair, Batista, and randy which he earned a lot of world title runs. Although his work with Vince during the attitude era with the corporation was quite good although not at his prime.
Evolution had NOTHING to do with that! It came MUCH later!!!
In a Dark Side Of The Ring documentary on Owen Hart it was revealed that a sailboat harness was used for Owen Hart’s entrance the night he fell to his death all because Vince was too cheap to get a real harness

Undertaker is literally a pillar of WWE, he dont care if he's injured, he'll push through the pain and get the job done.
That dive Undertaker did at WrestleMania 25 was nasty. The crunch sound still makes me cringe
The man (legend) called Sting did the descent from the "rafters" on a rope a bunch of times in wcw, including one time he dropped down, fought off the nwo to save diamond Dallas Page (another legend wwe misused) hooked up DDP and both of them lifted back up 'to the rafters'
Once, a _RAW_ had to delay letting fans in by an hour from the original doors opening time because they were rehearsing and a pyro caught part of the TitanTron on fire. They actually had Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler open the show with an explanation and even showed a clip of the small fire that had caught on a part of the side of the TitanTron with the fire alarm sounding in the arena in the background.
Also, I really don’t subscribe to it, but there is a long running rumor/conspiracy theory that Vince McMahon was feeling vindictive about Owen Hart breaking “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s neck at _SummerSlam_ 1997 when he botched a piledriver move and made sure that something was messed up with the harness or Owen’s equipment or something which caused the accident and his death at _Over the Edge_ 1999. I’m like 99.999...% there’s nothing to it, though.

The Montreal Screwjob is a MUST KNOW event in wrestling history, one of the biggest controversies in WWE history and this documentary from Cultaholic, although a little long (over one hour) does the best I have ever seen at capturing every side of the story

Jesus! As a long time wrestling fan I am SICK of hearing about that!!! To save time, A guy who was the top champion was leaving, he didn't want to lose in his "hometown", Vince didn't know what to do, Vince had to take matters into his own hands, the guy who WAS the champ got mad and threw a fit. Short version of a story that is TOO LONG and talked about TOO MUCH!!!
