One of the best songs from the maladjusted sessions
Whyte will always be my fav songwriter of moz.
Absolute stunner, Mr White. Always loved this song in particular. Either sung by the big man himself and now by you.
Being a Morrissey and Smiths fan, and specifically regarding his solo career, the period in which you actively participated is my personal favourite. Fans should know that Alan Whyte has a total of 80 known songwriting credits with Morrissey. Co-written and/or performed on all of Morrissey's albums issued between 1992 and 2009:
Your Arsenal (1992), Vauxhall and I (1994), Southpaw Grammar (1995), Maladjusted (1997), You Are the Quarry (2004), Ringleader of the Tormentors (2006), and Years of Refusal (2009).
By no means a small feat.
And realistically, it can be said it has been nothing but downhill since you parted ways. Thus, egoistically, I wish you would both work together (once more) in a near future, simply because one can only imagine the wonders that would spring out.
Lovely tune.
Alain, this is sublime
What a glorious glass of ice cold water in this Covid19 desert 😎
I dig it Alain.. I would love to hear you do Life is a Pigsty, one of my favorite tracks you have written.

2:50 is that 'Looking Glass' by the La's? ;)
It feels like it's an attention deficity anthem reminding me all my time-blindness. I wish there was more to cover from that era. I mean Hanratty, I Know Who I Love, etc.
Anyways, it is beautiful.
Lovely, my fave Morrissey song. I prefer to see you on youtube than Morrissey. You should go on tour and play 2 album concerts like Peter Hook he does 3 hour concerts which NO never will. Cheers!
Thank you my friend
Hi Alain: unrelated question; where did the inspiration/ idea come from for the outro piano solo on Tomorrow, please?
tmoore2010 it was something I made up on my mum’s house piano I had as a young kid. I guess I was going for am Asleep kind of vibe.
