I went to school in NYC and then started my career out there. It was fun to see you all explore the city. Personally, I don't think the subway is all that bad at night, but understand wanting to avoid it. NYC is such a great place to visit though. Glad you all had fun.
Went to NYC in 2013, never felt unsafe once. We walked everywhere until the wee hours of the morning, cops were friendly, people were great. Can’t wait to go back to check out the Summit one. 😊
If you ever go back you have to go inside the 911 museum! I am not a museum type of person, but it is almost reverent and its jaw dropping. Doesn’t matter how many documentaries you’ve seen. There is nothing like it and so worth it! And Ellis Island is pretty cool too!
I love New York City. Always feel safe, have travelled solo a few times. You’re so lucky not to have a million kids climbing on Alice. 😂 that view/experience looks amazing. Will have to add to my plan next time I go
Looks like you had such a great time in NYC! I grew up near there and went to NYIT, the Manhattan Campus. I thought I had my fill of NYC and now you have me wanting to visit!
Looks like such a great trip. Seeing shows on Broadway is on my bucket list. I am going to see Wicked for the first time in December at the Pantages in LA. BTW Chris, you mentioned wanting to see Back to the Future. The Broadway tour is going to the Pantages in November and San Francisco in February.
Im a little shocked you guys didnt go see the apartment from jessie or go to the playground from the show if its even there but im super happy you guys enjoyed being in new york and that you all had fun i hope your cruise is fun goodluck.
Our girls watched that show so much when they were younger! We had a great time and were excited about sharing the cruise! Oh, and you’ll be happy to hear that no raw chicken was served 😊
Really enjoyed these two videos! You hit most of the iconic NYC places, but called Magnolia “a bakery” 😂. Looks like you missed Schmackarys though. Save that for next time!
I went up in the crown of the Statue of Liberty in the 90s. Too many steps for not a great view. I wish we had just done the pedestal. Also, I would have skipped the statue & just went to Ellis Island.
You should have done Statue of Liberty from NJ it’s so much easier and the wait times are so short. 9/11 memorial is a place with so much emotion it’s still hard for me to be there. Last year I took my son to the 9/11 museum and wow that took me right back to September 11, 2001. It seemed like many tourists just enjoyed seeing it in person but for me as a New Yorker it was so hard to be there to almost like relive it again.
Thank you for addressing the safety of my city. I’m not sure why we get such bad press. I’ve lived here 20 years and besides 2020 when people were desperate, I have never felt unsafe. It’s been a joy to watch the Miller family enjoy everything the city has to offer. And oh boy did yall have such a full day!!!! You took full advantage of your time there. Bravo!
So glad our experience was as positive as it was. Honestly we were a little concerned after seeing lots of news reports in the last year, but hearing the opposite from local New Yorkers, who create Vlogs that we watched before coming, put us at ease. We hope what we shared will help others as they consider visiting New York City! I can’t wait to come back 😊

Like Carrie said, if we’re gonna be here any longer, we probably would’ve felt fine, but we also enjoyed walking around the city as well! Thanks! 😊
I have gone twice to New York and didn’t feel unsafe. With that said, I am careful and do watch my surroundings but did not feel in danger! ❤
So true, on both items you mentioned 😊

Summit one was so incredible!
the white sauce is iconic on halal plates - people douse their food in it, that's probably why he was surprised lyndsey didn't want it haha
She is the only one of us who would have said “no sauce” 😂
What a fun trip - so many iconic sites! Looking forward to more.
Can’t wait to share more 😊

We do hope to go inside there at some point. We’ve heard similar responses from others.
Our family will be in Paris and Normandy regions of France next year too. :)
How fun!

Yes! There was someone who climbed up on Alice to take a picture with her 🤷🏻♂️ Sometimes people just act like they on the place, right 😂
Best observation ever ... The terminator 2 reference😅😅
😂

Love this!

Such a good vlog! I'm SO excited to see your cruise vlogs! I can't wait!
Yay! Thank you!
Yayy happy Anniversary to both of you 🎉🍰🍾🥂💕
Thank you so much 😀
Ransom also filmed by that fountain, I believe. Great video!
Oh yeah, I remember that one! Good movie 😊
Thanks for the video! Those rocks in Central Park actually helped prove glaciers in the United States!
That’s so cool!
Happy Anniversary!💕.
Thank you so much 😀

@AdventuresinMillerland Good, I'm glad you all had fun on that trip.

Thanks! Well, it is called Magnolia Bakery 🤷🏻♂️ The banana pudding is so good!

Still would have been a cool experience! We’ll try to check out Ellis Island next time 😊
