@@nostreamgia Its one of the worst comments I have ever heard in history about a McCartnery song ( At least in my opinion..). The Song is made of Magic Dust! Thanks for youtube allowing us to hear this!!
Recently found John's song 'India' demo from way back I've never heard before, and now Paul's song India I've never heard before. What a treat, both songs are just so good, the magic never ends.
+Dan Stupich Yeah, it is always surprising. I played about 10 unreleased Macca songs to a group of self-professed Beatle nuts recently and they were gob-smacked. They hadn't heard the stuff I was playing! And it led to the inevitable discussion, "Why are Macca's best songs unreleased?"
Joy Stinson it’s the magic in Lennon’s voice that’s makes the difference. Of course Paul is among the best singers and songwriters of his generation, but(for me at least, and many others I’m sure ) John is the best rock singer we’ve ever had (so far).
SP Overfelt thanks for that - it makes perfect sense and is a truly heart felt performance. Being very personal, it’s like Sir Paul to be somewhat obscure about what he’s actually singing about.
This is SO amazing! Wow ... just WOW! Should've been on DRIVING RAIN or Chaos and Creation in the Backyard or any of the subsequent albums. It's just absolutely GREAT!
STILL...this most incredible song NEVER released. When I first heard this song I thought it was a studio recording. Simple ...yet hauntingly infectious. Classic Paul.
I agree too. Paul is the greatest composer of all time to date in so many ways. We’ve been so fortunate to have such a person who’s given so much for so long, from Rock to Classical and everything outside and in between. We lost John, and he was just getting started. But we still have Paul! Like we now all know songs like O Danny Boy, Amazing Grace and Greensleeves, I’m sure that in a thousand years from now Yesterday, for example among others, will be still be sung and played.
I am Surprised this the best thing I have heard from Paul in Ages, why didn't he put this out as a single, it would have put him back in the charts if it got airplay and it deserves it!
Brilliant song. Every one of the Beatles still remember my land, then. John Lennon has a song called India. Now Macca has one. And George had quite a few about it. They came here so many years ago. There are so many MASSIVE beatles fans here. Wonder why he doesn't come here for a concert, and in memory of old times. Indian culture and music was such a big influence on them.
OMG what a great song. I've never heard it B4. Paul sounds excellent as always. Great band, too. Go PAUL! I've been to India, too, a few x's, & it's now been a while & I miss it. I hope to get back there somehow, too. Last time was Spring 2000. I am so grateful I got to go! Right now there's no way for me to get back there it seems, but hopefully that will change. Oh well..India is in my heart just like it sez here... just like Paul & his music is!
I really believe India is about Linda.. India is letter play word.. switch the letters around using lower case l for L.. linda Hey the Guy still loves her.. ♪♫India♪♪linda♪♫..
wow! This really is word play on Linda! This song is about Linda! He adored her! Must be hard for him writing songs about the love of his life when he has another wife to consider, so this is a sort of code!
sadly, it's probably true- after all Paul has gone through- 1st his mother (Mary) died, then Lennon was shot, then Linda died then George died- and of course all the nasty divorces from woman taking advantage of his money instead of marrying for love- disgraceful- but the world is a bad place sometimes, we're lucky to still have Paul and Ringo.
Pure GOLD, we're all under the spell of this song , "Thank you, small but charming group"smiling through my tears, thank you so much for sharing MaccaMaker
So, I have been watching this video several times now and I think it's the simplicity that'grabbed me,. just three chords in a sequence that's been done a million times before but then come up with those vocals. just brilliant. hats off.
India , la descubrí hará unos 7 años , me quede atontado desde el primer momento . Es tan bonita , no entiendo cómo,o no la canta en directo. MACCA es un genio
He leaves them unreleased so people like you and i can unexpectedly find them and enjoy the treasure we have found. I remember when I was younger I would search the back of B sides of 45 records of songs that were not on any albums. I'm sure when Paul passes on they'll be many songs to surface and we will be happy to hear from him again you know aparaventure we will play
this awesome song should have been on Driving Rain or as a bonus track on Back in the US, or a single or official video. This should be included in some remaster as a bonus track!!. One of Paul’s biggest undiscovered treasures Would be a big hit if it had been released to radio and as a single back in 2001
Pity he didn't release it now, still think it could be a winner.

Paul has that magic of writing songs that you feel so deeply, because to the way he preforms them too.
Why isnt this on cd ?
How come this was never released? Even his throwaways are brilliant
...the first part is Paul doing an example of Indian Raga Singing!
it sounded like mantra.. :D
tough it was melodious..it actually isn't raga singing(raag aalap)
@@AmanSingh-yt1bf no, it was purely Paul.
That's no raga or mantra! Just Paul singing pseudo- Hindi gibberish!
