I can’t get over how amazing this looks and how authentic yet you created it at home. I love Indian food and will try this. Thank you for sharing! The colors are so beautiful
This looks great. I’m excited to take on this recipe spin, there are so many ways to use these ingredients and it’s refreshing to see this made from scratch, not a jar!
Once you build up the stock of spices needed for curries(lots of crossover with Mexican food so it's also utilitarian) it's not much more trouble to brown onions and toast spices to make a sauce from scratch. But sometimes you still just want a quick batch of Lister's hotdogs vindaloo and a jar of Patak's is very handy for that.
Oh gosh, I am so intimidated by that ingredient list but this look so delicious, maybe it will force me out of my comfort zone of 7 ingredients or less. Thank you for posting this!
Keep the rice and omit the squirrel dude-I went to India almost 4 yrs ago (in fact over Easter and Gandhi's House is closed to visitors on Good Friday. To the est of my knowledge/experience............they don't have or eat squirrel
I called it 3 months ago. That giant mixer that she used twice in now a permanent fixture in the kitchen. It takes up all the counter space. Also, the onions on the floor (2:54) have been there for 2 weeks. Who stores food on the floor?
How is it you know she doesn't use the mixer when off camera! She's not inviting you to eat so why does it matter where she stores the food items? If you need suggestions where to store yours I bet many that watch her will gladly give you suggestions.
If that's your profile pic then I suggest you stick to dealing with your life cause based on what I'm seeing, you have problems of your own there Henry!!
Oh Sara, I noticed at the beginning of the video that the Teflon is wearing away in that pot. I think it's time for a new one. Remember, never use metal utensils in it.
Hey Sarah how come your husband don’t help you anymore with the photography Anymore your videos were so much better than and you had the opening song what happened

I’m having a good old chuckle 🤭 as I swear Sara has been fighting that tripod ever since she’s had it lol 😂 dang girl you’re so precious ❤❤❤❤
I think the recipe you were talking about around 9:15 is matar paneer. It’s my favorite too!
Another good recipe from a very kind soul....

That looks incredibly delicious Sara, thanks for another great recipe!
That looks amazing! I've always been intimidated by Indian cooking because of the sheer number of ingredients but you make it so do-able! Thank-you.
They love their spices! It's definitely key. Love indian food
There are a great many simple curries you can make with minimal number of spices which, if you cook Mexican food, you may already have stocked.
How wonderful of you to explore other cultures! Thanks for transporting us to India with yet another Sarah-tastic masterpiece!
@Priest Vallon If she had someone running a 2 cycle engine(weedeater or scooter) for the noise and exhaust the ambience would just about be there.
Looks delish!! I've never made it at home, ill have to give it a try!
I can’t wait to try this!

East Indians have some really beautiful dishes. This looks fantastic! I think I'll try and make this one. Thank you Sara!
West Indians too! I'd love to see Sara take on a Roti, doubles or a beef patty.
You mentioned possum sauce? Is it available at the grocery store?
She said PASTA sauce, not possum 🙄🙄
@@ruthe.langley4013 pretty sure it’s possum sauce and what is the Oiwallllllll she always mentions?

If there was a RUclips award for funniest comment section, this one would be a serious contender.
@Lucas Trout Don't hold your breath I'd say. 🤣
I may buy the sauce before I make it from scratch to see how I like it , I’ve never had this sauce !! It looks good though
NS.... It is very good.
I buy the Masala Simmer Sauce from Trader Joe's and it is delicious! I mean, Sara's is much better I'm sure, but I like it a lot.
Awe your voice is incredible ! Thanks for taking the time to cook for us.
Crikey Betty’s trailer must’ve been very cold 🥶 for the coconut cream to solidify
This would be great over some rice and smothered squirrel
I wish all the comments were as witty as this one! 😂👍🏼

The way she’s fighting her tripod I’m afraid that I’ll be a ingredient 😂😂😂😂
I myself don't like curry or alot of seasonings, I'm pretty basic with salt , pepper and garlic powder.
I never tried this type of sauce. It looks delicious thanks for the recipe. Y'all have a great weekend
I want this- looks SO good!!

How very kind of you Melinda.

Just like watching for a pot of water to boil.

butter is not a sauce bruh why
Yes it is
It is for lots of fish/shellfish, Italian and French foods. It's the base for many other sauces.
