This one was performed on the 5th season when they returned as guests. They started out singing, then were joined by the judges one at a time, along with Nick Lechay. This is a similar arrangement, but with some Home Free flavor put in. Love this cover!

But from now on it is the version of Home Free that is on my playlist and no other. Alternating the lead between Austin's powerful voice and Rob's silky soulful voice just sounds so beautiful and fantastic. Then the unparalleled vocal percussion, truly phenomenal. The great bass, beautiful harmony and incredible backgrounds vocals are the finishing touch.

The harmonies in this are so amazing and the smoothness with which Rob and Austin switch the lead back and forth always makes my chin drop to the floor, sometimes so quickly that my brain cannot catch up!😲 And those harmonies at different points in the song and the way they end, so beautifully! This is definitely a masterpiece, a wonderful upgrade from what they performed on the sing-off 10 years go which was great too! Great reaction to a great song. When you were talking about the h sound, I heard the wh sound, the whoosh. In their harmonys I could almost hear a xylophone. Just perfect.

I think what you were trying to say is that Tim was avoiding the glottal attack of the "ah" and added the 'h' to make it 'hah' so it wouldn't sound as harsh?
