I really wish the Zsaz mission wasn't cut, I just find it strange Batman would ever see one of his enemies on a security tape and not go after him.
In one of Riddler trophy's, it mention about victor and he was going to kill batman but what scarecrow was doing he decided to let crane have his fun.

I have 2 theory either they replaced zsasz with professor pyg or they were both side missions but zsasz was too similar too pyg that they cut him out of the game
@@SortaSpooby yeah thats what i was thinking, pyg already had the detective style mission on lock down, and i doubt they'd wanna copy what they did in city since one it'd be shamelessly reusing content, and two alotta people had issues with that mission, being forced to endless petrol the phones until one rang

In Bleake Island he killed 3 thugs and put them in a clean state similar to a statue and if you scan them youll have a gotham story from Riddler riddles.

Honestly, with everything that happened in the game, it's my head canon that Zsasz died. Either shot by the militia or a victim of the fear gas cloud.
They should've kept the thug's Jason Todd reference in, really shows some of these guys have some regret.

The Suicide Car, I suspect It would be for the APC Missions, The car would follow you while you tried taking the APC down, Just like the rocket launcher cars you see. Except this version it would use the jet engine on the back to race up to you and then explode, Not destroying the Batmobile but dealing quite a bit of damage to it, This is my Theory for the suicide car.
Or, perhaps the suicide car would have had a manned driver who would have been a part of the mission. You have to avoid firing rockets at it while trying to take down all the others while he attempts to ram you. Perhaps after the suicide car was the only vehicle left in the chase, you would then do an EMP pulse to short out the car before getting out of the Batmobile to gather information from the driver (perhaps to learn the next location of another APC) and knocking him out.
And with both our concepts, If the car got too close then it would just Explode?
Yes. It would deal damage in both scenarios. However, in mine, if you shot it down with a rocket, it would be an automatic game over.

That original "checkpoint commander" looks better in my opinion.
Maybe the commander was gonna be like a heavily armored soldier. Like in arkham city where you see TYGER guards with red vests

I wasn't happy with Arkham knight, but rocksteady put their heart and soul into it. And that deserves respect

My favorite game. The complains just happened because it was wayyyyy to overhyped
3:46 That's Ratcatcher! I wonder was he going to be in the game... I remember one of those side stories mentioning he'd been killed by Penguin, in the final game.
he probably may have been considered at some point if the art is in the files like it is, though i imagine was never fully taken forward as that side story happens in Arkham City so there was no way they could bring him in for knight unless it was another ratcatcher (impersonator? child who took up the mantle? who knows)
although it could be concept art from any other arkham games that was carried over for testing or placeholder purposes (unless that's proven wrong in which case correct me)
or, maybe an early concept for ace chemical workers, they would probably need to wear full suits to prevent any harmful effects so maybe these were early suits designed in tone with the rest of the game?
either way it's still quite creepy!
Two things:
1. I actually think Batman was supposed to drive the Suicide Car. It's the only other vehicle in the game that has an afterburner. It could be like the Crash Bomb challenges from Just Cause 3: get the car to a location (probably the ocean) while keeping the speed up, or it'll explode. I think it could've been a very cool side mission.
2. Can you confirm that Professor Pyg's in the GCPD are muttering something, maybe about "peanut butter" and "bacon?" Even with headphones, standing right next to their cell and zoomed in, I can BARELY hear it, but I think they're saying something.

It would have made for a nice trinity pattern, as he was somewhat prominent in the previous two Rocksteady games.
It would have been great, just like how the original season of infamy was hatter, croc,freeze,al ghul,black mask and Prometheus but only used the first four

also, I heard a thug in the Robin dlc say how batman hit him into the fuze box
In the Nightwing DLC a Thug will sometimes mention his twitch and explain it's because Batman shoved his head into a fuse box.

That unused riddler loop would have drove me crazy. More crazy than the actual final race track did.
Batman had been around almost 2 years by the time origins came around based on in game context. So 8 years between when that happened to Arkham knight? 10 years seems rather short.
it could be more. there have been arkham origins references in arkham knight which refer the game taking place 15 years ago. we can’t know for sure. but it’s 10-15 years
@@ab_077 still seems kind of short in my opinion. Then again they seem to reboot the continuity every decade or so in the the comics anyway so doesn't not make sense.
In the final game, in a side mission, it's said that Origins is ten years prior to Knight, and Origins is Batman's second year. That's 12 years.

The riddler track just looks like the tunnels from deep see driving in ctr
10:20 looks more fun then the tracks we actually got, reaching check points before time runs out. Looks very challenging but not annoying, unlike the race tracks we actually got like the last one. This one looks like a replica of the tunnel where you're chased by arkham knight. But still nice

I was looking on Cutting Room Floor and Mad Hatter’s Side Mission was actually different you were originally supposed to rescue 5 of the GCPD officers and if you did that you were meant to return to the GCPD and the mission was over but I think rocksteady didn’t really want to make the mission too repetitive and so I think they bumped it down to where you rescue 2 of the officers in Gotham and the one officer in the Mad Hatter’s Book and other stuff I found was Black Mask and Prometheus was originally meant to be in the DLC but they were scarped and Black Mask Appears in the Red Hood DLC instead

On one of firefighters rescue mission you can hear that firefly appear after ten years
Interesting. Looks almost like they were going to use the Body Armour Enemy archetype, then either replaced or upgraded them to the Brutes.

Hey, I have a problem. I'm using your nightwing mesh mod for arkham origins. The problem is the cape is removed from normal Batman, instead of Nightwing. Could you provide me with a solution please?
i dont know the answer, as the cape textures i used are for robin, not for batman, so his cape should not disappear
when deathstroe says 8 years, it makes sense to me. a young batman in his 20s + 8 years makes a batman in his 30s, which is around the age he has when asylum starts and theres about a year and a half from asylum to city and then another like 10 montsh between city and knight.
I feel like this game was so rushed...
Honestly, if your game is free-roam, I'd say you add as much stuff as humanly possible.

Honestly one of the worse things about Arkham Knight is the massive Tim Drake/Barbara Gordon plot hole. We know that in Arkham Asylum Oracle is crippled and Jason had died a little while beforehand. Tim Drake didn't become Robin until post Arkham Asylum. Yet in Matter of the Family, set before Asylum, its Batgirl with Tim Drake Robin. Quite obvious that the relationship was changed late in development (in trailer u can see the Flying Grayson necklace on Babs that was changed to a Robin one) and it was originally supposed to be Dick or Jason in that DLC expansion. Just another pointless "Why the fuck did u change this" change to add to the other list of shit they fucked up in Arkham Knight

the only way can be done, is changing the look, it won't change the actual character's moves

you could, but for example, you want batman and robin, when it is meant to be batman and nightwing, well, you can make nightwing be robin, he will look like robin, but he will have nightwing's moves and animations and weapons, you can do everything normal, but it won't really be robin.
