I think Rasenryu got so used to cycling the same series of attacks over and over, and having it work every time, that when Steve was able to get around it Rasen just couldn’t get his mind to recognize what was happening until it was too late.
rasenryu had to play passive because Garchomp(in my experience) is a hard counter to Gardevoir. If Garchomp gets close to Gardevoir she is dead.
How do u do stuff like 8:28 so fast or 0:48 at all
I mean 0:49
@@ok-up9fd it's a cancel. You press r, and it puts you in a running state, which can give you the ability to do that move, which is running dash x. The move at 8:28 is charging x, then you jump and release the move.
5:21 anime rules it’s a lightning rod😂
The pizza cutter op

This is not even worth watching, the gardevoir player is too pasive and novice at blocking
Saruwata Izuki You do know who Rasenryu is, right?
Saruwata Izuki still. He seems too scared of the garchomp. He IS playing passively
@@fropi5523 He's scared because the moment Garchomp gets close, he's basically dead. This is an extremely lopsided MU, in Coach Steve's favor.
@@Nebulade "the moment Garchomp gets close"
Gardevoir has a lot of zoning tools at her disposal. She shouldn't let Garchomp get close. Even then, Gardevoir isn't helpless in close quarters (See Game 3 Round 1).
The way the guy was playing _let_ Garchomp in and beat her down. If this truly was such a lopsided MU, the Garde player shouldn't be playing passive as they can't afford to let Garchomp what it wants to do. Gardevoir needed to be aggressive.
@@lunamaster123 even in moments where she was using get of me moves, garchomp often had counterattacks ready and garchomp has a lot of tools to get close. While I would agree, that the gardevoir was holding back, I get why this match up can be paralyzing.
