Question: how does the 3 cylinder engine handle while goinjg uphill? I'm still skeptical since most of the newer 3 cyl. cars I've driven were quite anemic and required 2 downshifts where my 4 lcyl. daily driver (a '92. Nissan Sunny with 75HP) requires only one downshift to attack the hill.
Thanks for the info. Judging by the video and what I've read, the 0.9 seems like a 3 cyl. engine you don't have to push so hard to tap into the area where you have power, unlike most of the 3 cy. competition.
What rev range is acceptable for an upshift on this Micra? When driving a Peugeot 208 1.2 PureTech I couldn't get any power below 2500 revs. Seems like the 0.9 behaves more normally by what I've seen here, but the numbers on the rev counter are obscured...
it's best if you keep it in the 2000-ish range, just drove the car with this engine, 2500+ is needed for an upshit to keep up the momentum imo, it's starts to resonate if you shift up below 2500
When it comes to driving, in my opinion the Ford would win. In general Ford is king when it comes to good roadability and shifting. The Micra drives great and Nissan made really big steps with the new Micra, but it isn't as tight as the Fiesta. When it comes to the engine, the Ford is on paper a little more economical while it has a little more power, but I doubt you would notice that difference in practice. On the other hand is the interior of the Micra way nicer than the interior of the fiesta (in my opinion). It's cleaner and the materials are better. Personally I would choose the Nissan Micra over the current Fiesta. When the new Fiesta arrives I wouldn't know yet which to choose. I didn't drive the new Fiesta yet.
Road Fanatic Aah okay.
Christian Schumacher 2,540 seems fine. I want to test drive this car, hopefully when this car start selling there will be MT for sale. (Most of new cars in my country don't have MT.)
I love the design of the steering wheel
The motor sounds very good, and the external noise inside is low, interesting.
Sounds pretty loud inside to me compared to me honda civic 2.2
Micra was my first car, and I always love to see them :)
The 3 cylinder engine sounds great.
You are lucky .
Japanese are still compromising to Low quality Thailand assembly Micra ( March )
as of Aug 2017.
Thanks for your uploading anyway.
More Micra POV videos please :), i love it
Tenho um igual 2017 mesma cor... Adoro
Why does your main roads not look wife enough for 2 vehicles too pass at once lol that's rediculous
They made the starterbutton behind the gearknob???

I think it will be ok. Due to the turbo the engine is quite torquey in low rpm's

Ma perchè manca la sesta marcia?
How was your experience ? did you liked the car ? :D
Absolutely, it's a sporty little car to drive
Road Fanatic which is better? This or a similarly specced 1.0 100bhp ecoboost fiesta?

エンジンルノー製?
Yes indeed

any model with rear electric windows?
Not standard, perhaps it's an option
My nissan micra has
Yes, it's an option now.
how much it rev around 100 kph at 5th gear?
I'm not sure to be honest. around 120 kph the rev is 3.050 rpm, so at 100 kph the rev would be around 2.800 rpm I think
That a bit too much rev for my cruising speed but I think it's pretty good for 90 PS car.
Thanks for information.
You're welcome :). Feel free to ask if you need more information
Road Fanatic If the 3050 revs at 120 kph are accurate, you will have 2540 revs at 100 kph. (3050 : 1.2)

Nice car, shame Nissan Australia is stupid and won't sell them here
Yes it is, is such a nice car :)
