With the multiple cameras and rocking intro, your editing has reached an all-time high! It seems like you enjoyed this fair. I feel like I don't visit enough of them. Thanks for another fun video!
Amusement Now Thanks so much. I am just trying some new things and seeing what sticks and what doesn’t. 2019 has been a year of big changes for me personally, so I’ve decided to make some changes to my videos too! Again, thanks for for the compliments. They do mean a lot 😀
I heard through the grapevine from a guy who works for Poor Jack that in most cases, carnivals and fairs in Ohio are not allowed to have certain moving parts or props. I think he said something about OSHA. Not sure how that works tbh. In the Rocky Horror Hotel ride there was a fair worker waiting to scare you at the end. He got me the first time and I gave him away the next time I rode and somebody else was with me.
Coaster Thinga Again thank you. So that makes Talley, Skerbeck, Kissel Entertainment, Strates, and Prime Time that all booked in pieces. I believe the Space Roller is individually owned too. Maybe next year I will have a better grasp of who runs what!
@@RayPVideos don't blame you; it was confusing. I suffered several brain farts trying to figure out who brought the Super Sizzler and some other stuff.
TheRosesFamily Thank you very much. The Food selection was truly incredible. One could spend an entire day just enjoying the different items available!
The Matterhorn is a rethemed Thunder Bolt ride. I hated it. They would run it at full speed and then put the brakes on and the seats would swing violently. I thought it was an Alpine Bobs at first. Was surprised to find out the other day that the Toboggan was the Skerbeck one. I found out because there was a trailer with a crane behind Big Kahuna with the Skerbeck logo. When getting off the Iron Dragon, the sign says "thanks for riding the Supernova." Guess the coaster was called that before. The trailer behind it has a space theme on it. Great video. Loved it.
Actually I just realized you went to the fair on the same day I did. If you saw a light skinned skinny black dude with a ponytail and a red white and blue plaid shirt, that was me. I was on the midway the whole day, until about 8:30 pm.
Just to let you know the storm and the kiddy hully gully where are owned by joy rides the crazy mouse was owned by SJ entertainment and a correction on the cliffhanger was owned by talley other than that great video
Coaster Thinga Yeah, like I mentioned, I wasn’t 100% certain as to many of the rides. This was a much harder event to figure out than usual with all of the individually booked in rides. So thanks for the info.
@@RayPVideos I JUST figured out last month that PrimeTime owned five or six of the rides at the state fair, because all those same rides were at Darke County Fair in Greenville. I was shocked. Guess PrimeTime replaced Kissel Bros. last year at that fair, which is interesting because PrimeTime had a small presence at the state fair this year. AoA provided the midway for Fayette County Fair the past few years, so they still have somewhat of a presence in Ohio.
Pugh Shows used to have an Astro Wheel and would take it to almost all the fairs they did. Clark County Fair would have it every year until 2000. I love that the Astro Wheel is the sole ferris wheel I've seen where they allow single riders. Found out on the first day. The shape of the seats comforts me because I don't feel like they will flip over. Apparently Kissel owns both remaining Astro Wheels in America. That Mini Hully Gully has three different names. For some reason the height sign says vHullyGully, while the flags say Streekstra-bont and Dancing Clown. Lol
Funfair Adventures The Kissel website says “no single riders” on the Astro Wheel, which is why I almost didn’t bother to ask. But since there was no signage and no one else on the ride, it didn’t hurt to ask and I was excited to ride a rare wheel. Thanks for the info on the rides. Some of them were difficult to figure out!
wharfier Yes, they had a cup of Dole Whip for $5, a Dole Whip Float for $7 and the “Oh My” (a hollowed our pineapple with juice and Dole Whip) for $12. I got the float and it was fantastic! Agreed on GL too... 😢
@@RayPVideos you wouldn't have happened to be on Geauga Lake Today back in the day, were you? I was on there in my late teens. Can't remember my username there. Would have to look.
Funfair Adventures Yes, I was bitter old Ray P on GLT. While I am still bitter at times (and old all the time!), at least you can tell in videos like this one that I can have a good time every now and then. 😄
@@RayPVideos that's right! I think you told me that once. I used to have the geaugalakefuntimes.com site. But I still have my Geauga Lake last day videos on RUclips. And I hear you on the old! Lol
Hey rflywr01 I love amusement rides with a siren including bumper cars and music express ride with a siren and rock n roll Matterhorn ride with a siren and ore rides and also I’m go on the amusement rides by myself
I love amusement rides my favorite rides are Himalaya rides such as music express ride and Matterhorn rides with a siren to represent screaming and dogems bumper cars I went on music express ride and bumped cars
Good video. It's always a shame seeing dark rides just kind of left and not touched. I have a local haunted house at my fair themed to zombie, which gets updated every year, and is pretty solid! (Not amusement park quality, but still alright.) And I've been on a iteration of the same haunted mansion ride at the texas state fair that was way better than that version. So some carnival dark rides can be okay, just depends on the company I guess.

You're welcome. Changing it up a bit is much appreciated by me and probably others too!
Nice video. Those haunted houses are just sad though!
Yes they sure are. I do get a kick out of riding them though, just to see how bad they really are! 🤪

Thanks for another great video RFlyer01 :)
Thanks for the kind words. I do appreciate it!

Beautiful share. We went twice this year. Thanks for sharing. We enjoy the food and long walks everywhere there.

@@RayPVideos I haven't had one since Disneyland 2 years ago. That's funny you did the Erie Co fair before. I lived in Rochester am during the 90s!
