Being retired service, of 30 yrs I can say I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, you made me smile in rembrence.
I love how every alien species never seems to have advanced beyond Napoleonic battle tactics.
I love the stories where they think kenetic energy is considered inferior, but still manages to basically shatter their pride along with their heads.
White Death, who was the sniper with the highest score, killed less than 50 Russians but terrified the whole Russian Army during the Finland/Russia war. He did not use a scope as this was the middle of winter and a scope would fog up. He used a standard rifle. He was just very patient and very accurate.
Simo Häyhä was his name.
according to records his kill count was over 500, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simo_H%C3%A4yh%C3%A4
Bullsht. IF A MAN BREAKS AND FLEES... YOU LET HIM. YOU DONT SHOOT HIM IN THHE BACK. FEAR IS CONTAGEOUS.
Yeah, the higher-ups will expect him to give talks on his strategy to inspire the soldiers, then take him off the field to train the next group of snipers. And you never take your best guy off the field. He can probably do hands-on polishing of upcoming snipers like on the job training, but live fire and in real battle situations.
Hilarious sniper comments! Loved it!
What is a grinnod?
"Do mot retreat! Turn around and advance!"
- Japanese Officer at Guadalcanal
🤣🤣🤣🤣
So, they go back to orbit. Drop rocks and leave.
Shades of the U.S. Revolutionary War in which Americans fired from concealed positions at the British marching forward in straight lined, row upon row attack formation. Seems like adversaries never quite learn their lessons.
Someone decided to parallel the respective tactics of our own Revolutionary War withthe British 1776.
This reminds me of when my team is getting rofl stomped, but I'm out there slaughtering them, dropping a 4.20 efficency kd.
Pretty kool
70 kills and one walking tank . . . .oh I forgot 3 drones. And a partial on an emprie.
There was a time when that was how "civilized men" considered these to be gentleman's warfare!
Travis MacCalester might be charged with providing aid to the enemy, for pointing out the design flaw which allowed him to kill The Omega with a mere rifle!
Hathcock would approve this video.
What happened to the spotter?
Not all snipers need a spotter; some can do solo!
The spotter was probably there but just doing his job.
@stephaniewilson3955 Some snipers are trained to work solo. The story never mentioned another man! Any sniper who works tandom knows that man is vital to the mission; they are joined at the hip! The man in the story was a solo operator!
He lost the bet? LOL 😆
Great story; retold in other words for last portion.
Yep. Great SCI-FI story
If you know the landing area. Radio controlled anti personal mines to cover any hard cover. That Omaga suit hope they can reverse engineer. Maybe not tell them of the simple to fix defect.
I wish I was a serious threat beyond 200 yards.
One small error cooling vent, X-wing fighter anyone?
The oncoming storm
"That technology is ancient." yeah, so ancient you completely forgot how to protect yourself from it.
ITS SCI-FI !!!!!!
Scary part, we dont train just one.
Hey guys - some of you anyway - you do know that this is sci-fi stuff don't you? As in the "FI" part is short for "fiction" - as in "made up" or NOT REAL
Wishful thinking...
Is this authored by A. I. ? Hmmm....predictable.
Yes
