    Maybe I'm just nosey but I love watching these videos of yalls lives coming together with your land and how you make that happen. I love being able to see how Cassie and the girls are living and loving their life and how everyone is adjusting and how you cope with the different "speedbumps" that come up for you, I know it can be frustrating and expensive but years down the road when it's all done and the way yall want it it's going to be that much more special for yall and for us too because you were awesome enough to include us(with your videos) and I just love that. I think your videos help me in my own life reminding me that a problem is just a hurdle to figure out it's not a roadblock, it's overcomeable, and to not focus so much directly on the problem but reminds me to look at the whole picture, it makes it easier to resolve(for me anyway). So anyway thank you for taking the extra time to do these videos, I'm sure I speak for a few of us when I say I enjoy them a lot. Give Cassie and the girls hugs, yall are amazing parents and people

      This comment is really encouraging. I’m glad you enjoy watching and it’s my pleasure inspiring people to overcome. I figure the best things in life come with a lot of work and a little pain sometimes. Im glad I’m able to teach my kids that. We are blessed every day. Thanks for watching my little videos. I don’t plan on stopping any time soon. One of these days I’ll be able to look back at where we started and be reminded how far we’ve come.

    beautiful work, and as you said, they will look like they've been there for hundreds of years. One thing i learned here was to make things wheelbarrow accessible. I haul a lot of compost, chips, etc up and down to my various plants, shrubs and it just makes it easier if there are ramps/trails for it.

    • @travisjantzer
      @travisjantzer  6 месяцев назад +3

      Yes definitely. That first trail I’m working on in the video is relatively flat from one side of the acre to the other. Specifically for wheel barrows

    I very much enjoyed watching your build. It's going to be fun to see how it looks in a year. Tis also fun to see how much help your child is. A great activity for your children would be to tuck pretty rocks all along the edges of the all steps. Perhaps you could tuck a fairy door somewhere.

      A fairy door would be so cute!
      Glad you enjoyed watching! My daughter is learning to be a really good helper. For being only 4 she does a great job.

      Yea as I work in the area more I’ll probably be adding rock and plants to help with erosion and slipping.

    What flowers and veggies are you all planning to grow this year? Do the girls get involved in any of the gardening? My 4 year old grand daughter grew her first garden last year. She grew carrots (which I can't even get to grow) and peas and some greens. I like the naturalness of your steps and think your garden will be Lovely.

      We’re seeding the whole hill with Wildflowers and bulbs (daffodils, irises, tulips). Along the trails we’re planting blueberries and strawberries. I want a pumpkin patch and watermelon. My wife does most the gardening. She wants Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Zucchini, Luffa, Carrots, Brussels Sprouts, Corn.
      I really want to see if I can get Peanuts to grow!

      Sounds like it will be glorious! Would you all like some Zinnia and Rose Campion seed? I have grown Zinnia every year, all colors, and save seeds to use the next year. And this last fall I saved seeds from my Rose Campion and have lots of them too. I have WAY more seeds than I have space to plant. I'm sending some to Virginia for my grand kids and I can send some out to you all too.@@travisjantzer

      @@krickette5569 we have some rose campion actually! I didn’t k ow what it was called but looked it up and we definitely have some that we transplanted from our old house. I don’t think we have any Zinnia though, that would be pretty cool :)

    • @krickette5569
      @krickette5569 5 месяцев назад

      That's great! Rose Campion is one of my absolute favorites. I grew up calling it the "lipstick plant" because the color of the flowers made me think of bright pink lipstick. I will get some Zinnia in the mail to you all. I have Lots of different colors to share. I'll go through my other seeds and see what else I can send along too. @@travisjantzer

    Hi Travis. Do you still have the same cashapp that was used last time. I see your name on there so want to make sure because I couldn’t find your email where we had communicated before?

      Did you ever figure out your pond repair?

    • @nachis3
      @nachis3 5 месяцев назад

      O no it’s still jacked up. My daughter and I did try to mess with the little creek next to the pond but it got full of leaves. I just need to clean it. But I want to bless you with a little something maybe so you can use it for insulation or something for your baby girls. It blessed me to see the kids Bible on the table. Keep teaching them about Jesus their Maker as I pray for your finances and His favor.
