Saw them tonight 08/26/24 in Charlotte, NC with Bush and Jerry Cantrell... Excellent set by these guys. His voice sounds better than on the recordings, and has not lost anything over the years.
Fuck I remember this album like it came out yesterday. Where the hell did the time go? Sadly I haven't liked a new band since like 1999. I was only 14 the year this came out and it was an instant classic for me. Those really were the good ole days. Sneaking in high and trying to get girls everyday lol. Time scares the shit out of me. I'm now almost 40 and I'm still stuck in the 90s.
This and Change are the best.. I am so glad that I got to experience this incredible music in my life when I did and now have it for the feels when I'm havin a beer...lol
I was born in the 91 and I listen my mom's cassetes from 70's and 80's I love 90's were siimple years full of good music ,I love grunge style this is one of my favorites song and bands. With mudhoney ,AIC,Pearl jam ,screaming trees and so others.
Hahaha. 80s could not hold the 90s jock strap. Hell the whole decade of 80s music couldn't hold grunge music alone's jock strap. Aside from a few songs, the 80s was literally the worst decade for music. Though it's better than this last decade definitely.
Best concert ever. They were new. I paid a few bucks to get in. Free everything. Tapes, CDs, posters and shirts. Free to grab. Never ever have I seen such greatness. Here in Louisville.
Summer of 94' Candlebox opened for Metallica. Didn't know who they were then, but there one of my favorites now! The first album is great, top to bottom!
Bought tickets to see Suicidal Tendencies, Alice in Chains, and Metallica in August of 94. Alice in Chains had a couple members go into rehab for a bit, so Candlebox filled in. Great show. Always liked their music.
I believe I was a Sr in HS when this came out. It was like a breath of fresh air but still the same. All the songs on there had some profound meaning. From love songs to the addict on the street everyone looked dn upon. Better studio musicians then live but great none the less.

There is like 7 songs on this album/cd or whatever you want to call it that should have made it to number 1 on the charts, to me anyways.
Their guitars is amazing, very underrated, singer as well has pitch and real emotion!
