Hey blitz, just wanted to point out that you are the Celts and the attackers are vikings. The Fianna (name of his first pikemen captain) is actually the old Irish term for soldiers.
If you have two groups of archers, one group of infantry, and one group of pike men you could put one group of archers on either side of a boat that has vikings with shields to flank them
You should set some Divisions as reserves so not all of them get wiped out instantly, and when a division runs low on manpower send the reserves in as you send the troops to resupply. Just some tips:)
Not a good tip...since like the first 15 levels can be done with only 1 group...to be very efficient but after that you NEED to never make reserves since the more big ennemies are mich harder...i learned that the hard way...and i remember it by experience....

If you want to complete the entire game youre best bet is keeping Three Swordsmen Army, and One Pikemen Army and max out their upgrade most importantly their class upgrade and the special ability that is granted to you for completing certain islands. I really wanted the game to go on even further to conquer more harder lands and to see just how far I can take my small army, also i feel there shouldve been a fifth army to control

I bought this game for Nintendo switch I would 100% recommend this game yet it is also shallow in the fact that there is no End game features except from a maxed out party
