The 🕉 OM mantra (also called AUM mantra) is one of the most commonly chanted mantras and can be used for a wide variety of mantra meditations. OM mantra chanting drives away all worldly thoughts and removes any distraction while infusing new energy in your body. Chanting the OM mantra can also help you break loose the constraints that you have imposed upon yourself. The constraints that hinder yourself to listen to your inner wisdom and prevent you from using that wisdom to chart the best course for a life of purpose and passion.
As for 108, the individual numbers 1, 0, and 8 represent one thing, nothing, and everything (infinity). 108 represents the ultimate reality of the universe as being simultaneously one, emptiness, and infinite. Renowned mathematicians of Vedic culture viewed 108 as a number of the wholeness of existence.
108 has long been considered a sacred number in Hinduism, Buddhism and Yoga. Traditionally, Malas (garlands of prayer beads) come as a string of 108 beads (plus one for the "guru bead," around which the other 108 beads turn around). A Mala is used for counting as you repeat a mantra.
To recite a mantra 108 times is said to help bring in harmony with the vibrations of the universe. OM Chanting and its vibrations, when chanted for 108 times, turns out to be progressively amazing and can help open the Crown Chakra and hence your way to self-realization.
The natural frequency of 432Hz, also called the “Miracle Tone”, is the frequency everything in our Universe resonates with. It is said that 8Hz is the “heartbeat” of our planet Earth. Better known as Schumann resonance, named after physicist Winfried Otto Schumann, who documented it mathematically in 1952. If we take 8Hz as our starting point and work upwards by five octaves, we reach a frequency of 256Hz for the note C in whose scale the note A has a frequency of 432Hz - in opposite to the so called “standard tuning” of 440Hz which is commonly used.
In this video, the OM mantra was chanted to an original 432Hz composition and both - the chant and the music - have not been artificially tuned to 432Hz afterwards. I am convinced that composing and performing music in the original frequency will lead to better results when used for Meditation, Healing, Chakra Balancing, Relaxation and all activities related to this particular healing frequency.

What I love about this kind of Asian/Indian spirituality is the fact that it's non intrusive, & not conforming one to any particular religion or belief! It allows each soul to connect in it's own individual way, without labels, affiliation or characterization. Islamists & Christians get a load of what it feels to be "spiritually free" - and how good it feels to know that NO one is going to pull you, draw you in, or influence you into their way of thinking or religious affiliation, & you are able to remain your true self & identify (or not) with any (or no) religious affiliation, what so ever. This is a connection of your spirit & soul with the Higher Ups & The Powers that Be -FREEDOM OF SPIRIT & FREE WILL, at it's best!! A females voice can get that deep when you play certain singing bowls. When you start chanting along with it it seems as if a third or fourth person is chanting right along side with you and it sounds this deep. Very cathartic and incredible amazing feeling and sensation

I had some fun with an expansion meditation to this chant, which I thought I'd share. Take your starting point as something very small, say a smaller than average bacteria at 5.9 microns. Establish it's size with the sound of the cymbal and then use the OM to fill it with love. Double the size of your imaginary object every cycle, establish the size with the cymbal and then fill it with love. Within 10 cycles you have something the size of a coriander seed. Keep filling it with love and in 20 cycles it's twice the size of a grown man. In 30, it's 3km, or 2 miles-ish in diameter. 40 cycles it's the size of the moon; 50 cycles is twice the diameter of the sun. 60 takes you half way to the edge of the Kuiper Belt, 70, which you think would take you farther, but it doesn't, takes you 1/4 of the way to the edge of the Oort cloud and the limit of the Sun's influence. At 80, we reach 350 light years, at 90, we're 4 times the size of the Milky Way, at 100 we're half the size of Laniakea, out local supercluster and at 108 we are the same size as the observable universe.
Now, I'm pretty handy with a pocket calculator, but I'm no expert, so don't come gloating to me if you discover I got some sums wrong.
I'll share one other little milestone that blew my mind: as early as cycle number 6, you reach the geometric mean of Planck length and the observable Universe.
