Winner of a video, I been tryin to find out about "successful candle making secrets" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Cenadoelyn Candle Contemplation - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my co-worker got cool success with it.
I made this, and I put 3 cupcake scented cubes In. It smells amazing!! Thank you for this amazing idea!!

I wish I could say I was better but I was bullied and treated so badly that I spent a lot of my life taking out my anger on others because it’s what was done to me. Shaming the person for being miserable doesn’t help them change, loving them does. Just letting you guys know. And as much as it sucks that people can say anything on here and in life, if we didn’t have free will it would be much worse. The sprinkles are the perfect touch, but I'm just wondering, will they alter the scent, and will they burn with the candle? Thanks!

I had another idea if you keep the lid to the jar you could put like a red ball on top to make it have a cherry(:

That's not how it works. Fire needs air to stay light. Put a lid on, and *Boom* no more fire.
@@lezly8387 On top of the jar lid, not the candle itself. They have foam cherries at the craft store.
I would add a cupcake sent or something along those lines

Vanilla essential oil was used for one. But any fruit scent would be nice too. Think berries and cream.

Nice video but won't the sprinkles attract insects/get mouldy?
i bought one with sprinkles and didn't have that issue. the sprinkles are coated with wax so insects aren't attracted, nor did it get moldy.

Could I used Vaseline instead of the sugar to stick the sprinkles?
Sunshine_pie416 Sure u can cause its sticky and u can mix sugar with water and put it on the fire for 20 min then .....❤❤
Vaseline is highly flammable. I wouldn’t recommend it honestly

I've not made candles before and am thinking about. Saw your CUTE candle. I was just wondering if it would be easier to apply the sprinkles before you glued the wick to the bottom of the jar? Is there a reason you glue the wick first?
creinha Nope that was just the order I did it in. You can do it the other way around if you think it would be easier :)

You can add vanilla extract to make it smell like cake

Carina Stewart so its ok to use scented wax cubes you can find in the candle isle at your local store? not sure if you have a store called walmart there, but i bought scented wax cubes that are used in a wax warmer thing for color and scent.

Amazing! I just have a a couple of questions:
1) Is soy wax better than regular wax or the same?
2) I viewed other tutorials on how to make this and in the end the color on the sprinkles started to run, will this happen if I use soy wax?
I just don't want to go out and order tons of stuff and end up wasting my money. Thanks if you answer, it would mean alot!

Mother's Day is coming up. I'll bet that a lot of mothers of young adults and teens would like receiving this as a gift. I had the volume turned down a bit while watching this, so I didn't hear the explanation of how this is a cupcake candle, other than the rainbow sprinkles. Did you use a scent?

Can I use palm wax?? Will it affect the candle making process?? Palm wax makes the candle have a glittery effect but i dont know if it is safe to use for this.

Ikr! $15... And for people to say that that's nothing compared to the $20 ones, it's just $5 less!!! So wtf an extra 5 bucks, I'd personally rather buy a candle than spend time on making one that only costs $5 less. But that's just my opinion. :)
She doesn't live in america, the currency is different in NZ where she is from.
You could make many more depending on the quantities you buy. And plus the retailed candles like Bath and Body Works are more costly than making your own from more natural materials. Plus it's fun.

I have an idea on how to make it easier ... I'm not criticising on how she did it, I think it's great. However I think that it might be easier to apply the sticky stuff (sorry I forgot what it was called) by pouring it in trying to avoid the wick and move the jar around making sure it gets all around the jar :)

Hey babe, I'm starting up my own online candle store, and I'll be using this recipe for one of them!! I think it's amazing, and very effective!!! Can i ask why you used corn syrup to stick the sugar strands to the side of the jar? Would I be able to use anything else as corn syrup isn't very popular in my area :( Thank you so much for your tutorials!! Love them!! xxxxx
Chloe Chapman You need to use something that will dry clear, try making a syrup out of just sugar and water and it should work out great :)
