Really high, airy notes + traditional rock vocals = 'angel screaming'. At least i think thats what they meant

Honestly infuriating how Alt has been co-opted and taken by white people when Rock and Roll was invented by a lesbian black woman and goth as a genre started when Scream Jay Hawkins had made music. The aesthetics of all the old cyber goth stuff is literally derived from the creations of Black People and has gone without credit which is beyond fucking unfair. You should be allowed to feel comfortable and feel like you can be who you are without judgement.
