- *The Tale of Ali and the True Treasure*
In a small village, there lived a young boy named Ali. Ali was energetic and smart, but sometimes he ignored his parents’ advice, thinking he could manage everything on his own without listening to them.
One day, while Ali was playing in the fields, he met a wise old man. The old man smiled and said, “I heard you’re looking for a treasure, aren’t you?” Ali was surprised and eagerly asked, “Yes! How did you know? And where can I find it?”
The old man laughed and replied, “The true treasure isn’t always gold or money. It’s something very close to you, yet many people overlook it. I’ll give you a map, and if you follow it, you’ll find your treasure.”
Ali took the map and returned home. When he opened it, he noticed that it pointed to his own home where he lived with his parents. Ali was puzzled and didn’t understand what the old man meant, so he went to his mother and asked her.
His mother smiled and said, “Maybe he means that true happiness lies in being kind and dutiful to your parents. Do you know that God loves those who respect and care for their parents?”
Ali thought about his mother’s words and decided to give it a try. He started helping his mother around the house, listening to his father’s advice, and being careful not to trouble them. He spent more time with them and thanked them for all they did for him.
As days passed, Ali felt a happiness he had never felt before. He found himself loved by everyone and felt peace and contentment in his heart. He noticed that his life became easier and that good things came to him without effort.
One day, Ali met the wise old man again. Ali said, “I understand now what the true treasure is! It’s the joy I feel when I am kind to my parents and make them happy.”
The wise old man smiled and said, “Yes, Ali. The true treasure is God’s pleasure with you, and you will only find it through the love and satisfaction of your parents. This is a blessing beyond any price.”
From that day on, Ali lived a happy life and became known as an example of a kind and dutiful child. He realized that true happiness doesn’t come from money or gold, but from the love and respect he showed to his parents.
