I always get frustrated when people judge you for living at home, I also graduated from college and live at home because rent is so expensive and I’d rather save up to pay my student loans back and for other things, everyone’s living situation is different and everyone should do what’s right for them! ☺️
Some people get so bothered by the strangest circumstances! I think that is SO smart! 🤍
@@JuliaKristine @Julia Kristine It is absolutely smart- I did the same thing and even though people thought it was weird the time I lived at home, I paid off all my debt from school, paid off my car, and saved for a house. Now I own a home that I was able to buy on my own, with no co-signers, at 28 years old, without all that debt, and people who were judgey then STILL are paying twice as much in rent and have a ton of debt. Plus my mom got super sick with cancer twice during that time and I was able to help out; if I had moved out I likely would have been over there all the time anyway. I did pay them some money for rent and paid for groceries, cooked for them, etc. and it was still hundreds cheaper a month than rent in my city so it was well worth it plus the "rent" money went to my parents, who really needed it while she was sick, and not just a greedy landlord. I have a great relationship with my parents that only got stronger during that time, and I learned a lot about appreciating and enjoying family while we have them. In many countries it is the norm for adults to continue to live with their parents, sometimes even when married, to share resources, have family helping to raise children and to look after older relatives. It's really not weird at all in the grand scheme of life and culture in the world. Plus on social media a lot of those naysayers are people who haven't actually graduated yet and have no idea the likelihood of being in that same situation lol, they're usually in denial.
I think there is nothing wrong with living at home with your parents. Parents don't live eternally, you have to cherish every moment can you get with them! 🤍Later on in life, you will regret not spending time with them when they are gone
@@accountforwastingtime in my country it is very much normal to live at home even when you have a high paying job.🤣 I currently live with my parents even if I can afford an apartment. I save a lot from doing so, plus I get to spend time with my parents. I realized I missed them really bad while I was away in college. Living at home even after graduationg shouldn't be all that weird. ❤️
@@sugarp9600 yes! I wish US would do more embracing of that culture. Instead we'd rather our children be in mountains of debt, working 2+ jobs many times before we'd ever accept that they could just be living with family🙄
People are always so quick to judge when they see others living with their parents but there’s literally nothing wrong with it! Staying with my mom so I can save and pay off debt and buy a house 🙌🏼

Girl living at home is more common than people think! I’m 23 and live at home with my mom. One bedrooms around me are at least $1700 so there’s no way I’m moving out anytime soon. I think as long as your parents are willing to have you around and support you, there should be zero shame in that

I moved back home when i was 21, i am now 25 and just now financially ready to move out. i hated it when people would judge me or scoff at the thought of me living at home and one person even said it was a fail of me to move back and it's just annoying because like you said it doesn't effect anybody but my parents and i.
It causes me to lose faith in people when they judge others - but for others to judge because you’re living at home? People really should think before they comment. You never know what someone is going or has gone through. I hope that people have enough respect for you Julia to only ever be kind to you. ❤️

I always dream about work! I even dream about jobs I had as a teenager. Usually I'm always running "late" and a million obstacles get in my way preventing me from ever getting to work! 🤣 I also live at home with my parents and I am 27, I just recently moved home in the fall of last year due to relationship issues so I can totally relate to you! Congrats on passing boards! Also, I just bought a 2018 Kia Soul and let met tell you, Kia's are AMAZING! Highly recommend one. Also, when I graduated from undergrad I moved back in with my parents. Nothing wrong with it. I am just now getting ready to move back out on my own a year later.

Me and my husband moved in to my childhood home while my parents were remodeling a home they owned for them. Not paying rent is such an weight lifted and saves so much money! No shame in it at all 😊

YES ABOUT THE DREAMS!! I just finished my first year of my program and at least like 3 times a week I could not fall asleep/woke up all throughout the night thinking about things I did wrong or forgot to do at clinical. It really stressed me out and I’m low key scared for next semester because I will be going 8.5 hrs a day Tuesday-Friday. I’m excited to go back though!
That used to happen to me ALL the time!!! My summer semester was set up like that with a 3 hour Friday class, so I totally understand! You will do great ☺️
Girl I’m going into my second year as a teacher and I still live with my parents. Won’t be moving out until June. WHY NOT? It’s such a smart move to be able to save money if that option is available to you. 💕

Haha i am literally 27 and in my last year of dental school and I STILL have stress dreams about highschool. I'll get to school, not know my locker combo or my class schedule, and go to a class i hadnt been in all year and have to take an exam. Since i do so much with teeth, i dream about mine being loose literally allllllll the time, so you are not alone there!

Yes I do X-ray and CT and have had many nights where people are coming up to my bed while I am sleeping needing xrays or scans! Especially after a really busy day. Too funny

same, but in a lot of areas here it is $1400!! I was able to buy a house at 28 after living at home, paying off debt, and saving up. It's a nice townhome and my mortgage is $725, almost half of the average rent in this area! And that $725 includes property tax, which is so low here they're wanting to raise it some crazy 30% because it wasn't raised in like, over a decade, and mine still will not hardly go up much at all. Compared to how much more expensive rent is here and how much it increases every year, totally worth it!

That so odd people question your living situation. It’s your own life and i think subscribers or followers forget that even though you share your life they don’t have to know every detail, lol. I’m 21, a junior in college and i still live at my parents. I don’t think anything is wrong with it. And my parents let me stay home to save money and get school done, which is very sweet of them so it’s nice your parents let you guys come back home. Yay, congrats on passing the ARRT exam! Also, I think people who are judgemental about others living with their parents can sometimes just be projecting their envy since living at home has so many benefits. Sometimes it's cultural too, like being hispanic ik most people live with their families for a while just to be close to each other or until both the "kid" and parents are financially stable and such.

How youtube put me here is strange but what isn't these days... thinking the Telluride and its why I stayed to see what you thought of it. We came out of an Escalade to the Telly and we are really happy with it. I honestly can say, if you dont need to pull a boat or have a huge family, for the price and features, it cant be beat. The Palasade is about the same with a different look. Check it too. About same features. The 2021s will have remote start and minor changes including a "blacked" out package if you are into that look. If you want one, keep an eye online at dealer inventories. The Kia website let's you "build" the model you want and then shows where one is... They show up and sell fast. We paid 2k OVER MSRP dealers would not budge, some wanted 5k ADM, something we normally NEVER do. But, we wanted it, needed it for work, got the exact car we wanted. Could be dif now... Cheap interest rates for well qualified buyers too... Fully loaded SX prestige package. It was like 55 out the door in Nor CA... Great Car. Any questions ask. It's got like 15k miles on it, super happy with it. Take care.

I think moving back home/with your parents is a great money-saving thing to do. However, myself at the age of 26 and I have never had the moving out on my own experience is really wishing/dreaming I could have an apartment/house of my own.
I just barely got a new car my old one (that still runs and I still have) has over 280,000 miles on it and my husbands truck has 343,000 miles and he still drives it and its running great!

They seem like such a great company but I can’t afford it 😔 omg North Dakota always looks like it’s getting hit with big storms and tornado weather. the infrared light for face ID. it's not visible to the human eye but it helps to recognize a face in low lighting
Keep in mind cars now are incredibly well built and easily last well past 100K. I never bought into the extended warranty and recently added it up and I spent maybe a couple of thousand in repairs on mine in the past 9 years. It was paid off 6 years ago, so definitely worth it! Biggest thing I've done was replace the belts recently, and that was something I knew was coming so just saved up for it and did it before it got too bad. Now at 130K with new belts it drives like new! If you've had a lot of luck with your car and it's been great up until 100K, it will likely keep being a great car and last a long time. If you've had terrible luck with your car and a lot of repairs, I can understand lol
My mom HATES me taking even photos of her, even just for me! So I can totally get them not wanting to be on camera, I absolutely respect that! I was always so terrified of tornadoes too, one hit our house in 1998 and for years after I'd get so anxious if it got really windy or stormy weather. We had an EF3 hit us in March and I was afraid I'd be traumatized again...I was for a few weeks, like the next big storm I was ready with an emergency go-bag and everything! Maybe it's just how shitty this year has been and everything that has happened since taking over anxiety-wise but thankfully storm anxiety hasn't been too terrible, so I guess that is progress? Massive congrats on officially being official and passing boards!!!!! And definitely don't worry about people trying to judge you for living at home especially if you might be able to move out by fall that is not a big deal at all!

I like cars 🙋🏻♀️. I have a Kia Optima but if I would get an SUV it would be the Kia Seltos. In California we already have the Telluride since 2019 lol but the Seltos is new to us
Yes, we’ve had the Telluride since 2019 too, but they’re so in demand that they can’t keep up with production! They had 80 outstanding Telluride orders to fill 😂 I saw the Seltos too & it looks really nice!
Julia Kristine Wow lol they must really be a hit over there then. Supposedly the Seltos is similar to a Range but I think the Telluride looks more like it. I hope you get your dream car you deserve it! ❤️

I'm 23 and I've never moved out of my family home. I commuted to college all 5 years. Moving out on your own is expensive especially in CA, it's ridiculous! There should be no shame in living with your parents! Also, thanks for your support of the BLM movement, it means the world to me. ❤
