- Located in the narrow streets of Taxali Gate and opposite the Badshahi Mosque, the shop's bustling environs made clear that it benefits from its prominent location. Where there's bustle, there's trouble - and a signpost warned us to watch out for our belongings. This yellow-brown halwa is made with congealed/thickened milk (khoya) and sprinkled with assorted nuts. It melted in my mouth, and thankfully did not leave an overpowering aftertaste. It has to be the most scrumptious halwa I have ever had with puri.

YASH MEHTA have halwa purii for breakfast, mid afternoon lunch HAREESA(small kabob haleem) lunch at Hawali for Best BBQ, dinner have whole leg of lamb roast. Midnight food Lahorii BRYANII SAAG, finish the night with original FALOODA with ice chunks. U’ll wake up after 2 days and start with Bong payee breakfast with lasii and go back to bed.
I guess that's the true Lahore way of eating modestly. 😄

Waooo- its such a delicious halwa poori but I must say that Halwa Poori from Hassan Sweets Sialkot is the best in Pakistan. They made it with desi ghee and you have to wait standing in queue for your turn.

how unhealthy!!! Burnt oil, dirty pots, everything mixed with dust and pollution. Abstain from this. If u really still want to eat this kind of stuff, make it in ur own home with good oil and clean stuff at least
