Since it was weekend, i thought why not go to a trek near mumbai, so I was searching online and i found this trek call vikatgad peb fort trek in matheran, neral... It was one of the list of things I wanted to do near mumbai. So I hoped in my suzuki burgman and went from Mumbai to Matheran bike ride in monsoon and it was a fun ride... Also, matheran is one of the places to visit in monsoon near mumbai or Pune... And i mean it... You must visit matheran in monsoon season or rainy season as the scenery of the green lush forest of matheran along with the Sahyadri mountain ranges or the western ghat is amazing to visit in monsoon.... We went walking on the railway line of the toy train in matheran and it was a 30-40 mins walk till the Ganesh statue... although getting down from the dangerous steep ghats of matheran on a scooter like burgman is very risky as the speed will go higher if breaks are not applied along with the rear tyre of suzuki burgman could also skid on the gravel on the side if the tarmac road.... this is on of the problem of suzuki burgman that the tyre skids sometimes....
