It's refreshing to see somebody demo a bass amp using songs that most modern buyers will play. I like jazz fusion and slap bass as much as the next guy, but I'm 1000% more likely to rock a Fugazi cover at my next gig than I am a crazy slap riff.
Just bought the GK Legacy 800 and the GK CX410. Can't wait to plug in and jam. I had the CX410 cab back sometime ago and loved it. So excited!!! GK gear is just unbelievable imo. Absolutely love the sound of gear. Thanks GK 🤘😁
Fugazi Waiting Room!!!!!!! I play pop punk ,skate punk and emo so I use both finger and pick and your guy nailed this demo for someone like me, the usual demo is "here we are to demo the versatility of this amp" and then proceeds to slap the entire time!!! It's like those guitar amp demos that are 20 minutes of obnoxious leads!!!!

I'm stoked... been teetering on the edge of trying my first GK amp for over a year (currently a Mesa and Aguilar guy) and I'm really excited about this amp. I think it's going to give me something really different than the others. If I get out of this what I think I will, this will be my new #1 for playing at church. Thanks!
One of the better demo's ... Not all slap, pop, pluck etc. I would've like to seen more knob configurations (tone possibilities) but again, not a bad demo 👌🏼

Great demo! Dunno why there are negative comments at all... I just got a Legacy 112 combo and it is as awesome as this demo suggests. In fact there is more warm mid-range available than I expected, and the brightness can be adjusted very easily.
Out of that lot I picked out ... When The Levee Breaks - Led Zeppelin Waiting Room - Fugazi ??? - Red Hot Chilli Peppers Broken - Pantera Longview - Green Day Wrathchild - Iron Maiden Broken was being played wrong - it actually starts on the E octave on the D string, first position.
Only in Dreams - Weezer, Reptillia by the Strokes, and he plays short skirt long jacket by Cake for like Half a second. Coolest bass demo i've heard by a major company.
You just sold future me a Gallien-Krueger Legacy head. It really sounds incredible. The new demo format really shows off the amp's versatility. Every gear demo should be this good (and to-the-point). Time to start saving that cushion change.
Impressive, the truth that beautiful sound and many possibilities of them. I have my GK 700 RB II and the sound of this is great. Cheers to GK. Too bad not getting much of GK around here in Colombia. I love GK.
Very complete and useful demo! (you really listened to us). The distortion it's very cool, it's similar to Alpha Omega pedal. I'm leaving with the desire to listen that jazz with only an A/I to understand the GK tone here, mostly on clear settings. I think it's a mistake, when shooting the amp along the diferent settings, that the knobs are all at noon and not showing the particular tweaking of part of the clip. I'm proud amateur user of GK and I leave these comments with collaboration encourage.

Recently returned from Gearfest @ Sweetwater and they had a legacy 800 on display with neo 2 and 410s hooked into it. This thing is hella loud!! And sounds killer, definitely reminds me of my old 800rb....I'm such a moron for selling it way back when.
Same on selling my old RB 800's (had a few)...bought this head and played it through my 412 NEO last night and lots of headroom to tune too...my band was Wow i actually filled our rehearsal space and sounded cleaner than pushing my MB 500...looking forward to more tweaking as I want to get more saturation...hope I did not make the wrong decision as I had my eyes on an Orange, but love GK too much
I've always been GK fan, but changed for another 'G' brand for three years for rock, overdriven sound... I think the old guys are on it to work the disadvante. That's why this rock styled demo I think.
Loved all the totally-not-exactly-the-song-you’re-thinking-of-in-your-head-right-now demos. I _hate_ that lawyers have so screwed this country to the point that a company can’t be proud of their achievements and honest without having to figure out some back-door method of actually listing their accomplishments.
This is great and helpful as I just bought this head and tried it for the first time with my GK NEO 412 last night, compared to my MB 500, this Legacy 800 was a great first impression/comparison to my RB 800, have some tuning to do still. The amp settings offered is so helpful Thank You, can GK create these samples with a diagram as many pedal and amp companies do for samples sounds/settings...that would be a bonus:). As well how they create a gig bag for this head...and why does GK not offer merchandise to buy online for Canada, love to get some a the shirts, etc...just saying:)

Is there any videos where these amps don't sound amazing? I mean, if a guy wanted a tone that sucked and sounded thin, I think he'd be out of luck with this whole line because they all sound great. 😉
Well, that demo was enough to let me know that I will NOT be buying one of these any time soon. Perhaps bring in a better player, using different basses, covering a wider range of tones than just bog-standard rock/metal? I’m sure that these are versatile amps that can handle a range of music styles, but that wasn’t shown here.
