I know Golders green inside out...being a postman I delivered post to nearly very house, shop .....The VERY best place in Golders green is the Hampstead garden suburbs.... The people are So natural and polite......BUT....if your down around Highfield avenue..and aligning streets....The wouldn't even give you a smile....fact!!

McDONALDS did not survive within this community, as the locals did not want to attract the people who are attracted to these outlets.
More communities should do the same. Local businesses are being driven out by big corporations, making everywhere looking the same.
