That was his best era. But he still can't sing and the band is predictable but decent. Too much sameness with the Clarence solos coming in at the same time each song. He tries a little too hard to get the crowd jacked.
Hate to say this makes the original sound dry, but this is possibly the best performance I've ever seen of any song, ever. The fact that Bruce puts on the full South Jersey accent and does it with all the finger gestures to show EXACTLY who he's parodying makes it so much more fun. I think people who only listen to his albums take him too seriously, at face value. He's an incredible actor, and he takes on the role of the characters he writes in his songs when he sings them. This guy he created, driving his mother-in-law around and pining for girls melting on the beach ...he performs it to a Tee but with just so much joy in his eyes while he's singing it... it's f'in genius.

What also is wonderful is Stevie will take the time to zoom with the teachers to learn about the successful strides or areas of concern. And thank you for replying to me. 😊 Have a great day!

I was at a book event for Steve Van Zandt's new book where he said that Bruce and the band made a conscious decision in the 90's that if they asked fans to love them back in the 60's and 70's they can't just walk away now that they've made it and so they reunited. They need to write books, release music, concert footage and tour as much as they can and keep repaying back to the fans at every moment they can. If that is the case you won't find me complaining!

Just to say I have attended Springsteen concerts ( in Europe) over the past 15 years ..and you can still get in the pit area and b right up against the stage. Unbelievable experience..
wow you even rocked then .. come back to glasgow .. oh how magic it would be just to give u a hug
This is BEYOND great. I can't wait to see the whole thing! A theatrical release would be amazing too... just sayin'...
No one saw any of this before you never saw the whole concert I saw this in the 80s on PBS
@@CC-mg3ho The original No Nukes concert film had a small portion of Bruce's set and sets by other artists also. This new film is all Bruce/E Street and comes from both nights of the concert.
Das ist der absolute Hammer in Rhytmus und Begeisterung.
Just to cut in and say that I went to a book signing and Q&A with Steve Van Zandt yesterday and he was everything you would expect, bloody brilliant. Standing ovation when he walked in and again when he left...just a great, great day and, like these video clips, he filled the gap until Bruce and the band tour again....
Thanks for sharing this experience! I've been waiting 3 weeks for his book to arrive. He's a great man and I so appreciate his creation of curriculum in education. I'm a teacher.
@@kathleenomeara9704 Hi Kathleen, hope you enjoy the book. Haven't started it yet as I wanted to delay the moment! He did talk about how he wants to expand the school curriculum in the US, so that music and the arts play a greater role in other subjects, in particular the sciences. He made a lot of sense and said that Connecticut has really embraced the idea and he's hoping other states will join them.
ps...Not entirely convinced that other reply is really from The Boss. Not sure he would have used so many emojis or strangled his grammar in that way..! Whaddya think..?

Hi
Yes! Many grammatical errors for a writer of his caliber to make!
Governor Lamont has embraced the opportunity to use Stevie's curriculum model to enhance the progression of outdated teaching methods.
A move forward to address the needs for students in the large, inner cities. Yeah!
What also is wonderful is Stevie will take the time to zoom with the teachers to learn about
the successful strides or areas of concern.
And thank you for replying to me. 😊
Have a great day!
@@kathleenomeara9704 You, too. Happy reading..!
So love...take me back to memories. Love and Light. 💕

I'm gonna see him in March 2023 I've never seen him I'm so excited I've been listening to him since he started Bruce You are my number one!!!!!! I can't wait to see you 🥳❤️🎶💯
Hope the song will be on the play list on the next tour !
Greetings from a true Balinese fan at Bali / Indonesia ! I know he and the band will never perform at Bali 😞 but I will travel any where to see them for the 5th time !
Loved him for a long time. I was introduced to him in 1976 by my community college English teacher. THANK YOU, MR. PAYNE!
@Bruce Springsteen Never being a fan is not a possibility.
Really looking forward to this.
Stuart..Are you going to reply to Bruce? Is it really Bruce?
@@brucespringsteen2490 Thanks Bruce for all the concerts and music for the last 45 years you have been the soundtrack to my life. First time I saw you was Wembley arena in 1981 and still remember it like yesterday
