This movie is truly phenomenal. Despite the limitations of technology, the camera work has been excellent. Basu Chatterjee was able to extract one of the best performances from real, legit actors not the so-called superstars. Not only it is highly entertaining but equally educational reflecting on the ills of society that treats women like a chattle.

I know many of u dont like this movie. But to be honest the emotions being shown here are very deep. We may not experience this in our day to day life with the safety of being well off. You can make fun of it as much as you like but it's a very deep story and a very nice one if u understand it properly

I want to thank my ICSE board.. because of their choice of literature which they included in syllabus: treasure trove of short stories,the golden lyre, Shakespeare's plays,collection of essays,kavya chandrika. All the books were great.
