Hi, thanks for the presentation. What is the reference (book) for the graph in 8:30 min?

sir can you explain in detail the real mechanism how vibration reduces the residual stress? i can understand all but this vibration stress relief i cannot comrehend.

I have one query. Did residual stresses increases if heat input increases. Suppose 50J, 100J and 150J energy input. If so why?

I think so, because, increase in heat tends to expand more material. It depends on cof thermal expansion. I hope I am correct, if not please let me know.

Residual stresses depends on temp. Only
More heat make deeper penitration or will increase welding speed...
