@@foellerd actually I think you just gave me an idea I haven’t seen anyone else do that would definitely be pretty stealth. I wonder what a used garbage truck goes for….
@@El_Dusty_ Baby Boomers? They're either too busy raising their grandchildren or their DEAD! I thank the Millennials 🤣! Or whoever the 30 something year olds are called 😂.
Wish we saw the inside of the thumbnail truck but to answer your question I love tube doors, I like a little protection when off-roading, it's lighter and more open without doors but let's say you go sideways and you hit a bolder and that bolder hits your leg or something, not worth it to me but with the tube doors you are a least a little more safe with very little weight and open almost as much as no doors so to me it's awesome compromise.
Thumbnail missing. If I wanted to have a tube door enclosure, I would stick to a side by side so it would be easier to clean out. Or yah, get a POS Jeep that I could care less about. The seajackers might be ideal for TFL camera mounting. If not already being used. Where was the Sherp? They can show off a full out rigged arctic track but not the sherp? lol

We need a build with the 100,000 lumens OR BIGGER light bars that can SWIVEL 360-degrees around to any direction that RETRACT COMPLETELY HIDDEN AWAY into a bumper or into the roof! (i.e. some states don't allow light bars to be visible on-the-street -- they must be covered! so we should make a lightbar where we can have it retracted into the body or bumper when on the street!) The OTHER key features in our 100,000 lumens swiveling lightbar is to have use-selectable BRIGHT WHITE LEDs for campsite/worksite illumination, have ORANGE LEDs for pilot car and industrial site use AND have Infrared LEDs for nightvision thermal camera use and/or nightvision goggle use! Let the user select which modes to use and if necessary choose BOTh White and Infrared or IR + Orange combination-illumination modes. Let the lightbar ALSO have multiple built-in or user-designed flashing rates, moving solid and flashing custom-shapes and arrow patterns plus custom brightness-levels (i.e. 100,000 lumens, 75,000 lumens, 50,000, 25,000, 10,000 and 5000 lumens depending upon user brightness needs in BOTH highly-directional Narrow-beam Spotlight mode and WIDE AREA flood-light mode! The lightbar should be liquid-cooled (i.e. with silicone oil or other high-heat resistant thermal transfer fluid) for maximum long-term always-on usage ability AND use one of the high-end and long-lasting CREE-brand or other mil-spec and IPxx-spec-level of impact ruggedness and waterproofing LED light brands! The KEY point is WE NEED 360-degrees or other wide-area rotation ability, we NEED user-selectable White, Orange and IR light illumination in the same lightbar and we NEED 100,000 lumens of brightness in spotlight and wide-area-beam modes! SOMEBODY make this please! V
THANKSfor all your efforts showing the SEMA show! These video's have been very nice to see, and gives me the opertunity to see it, without actualy being there! Great Job!
It’s cool how most of the various YT car reviewers seem to be friends and get along…notable exception being Throttle House and The Straight Pipes. Only room for 1 goofy Canadian car reviewer duo.
I ESPECIALLY LIKE the Road Armor Bumpers that big one with LOTS of tubing! I'm getting that one for my F150 Lightning Platinum once it comes in! --- This show is GREAT and lots of good stuff to see! And I do must admit I like that Ford Econoline Van 4x4 setup because it's COMPACT yet still has enough room to take your camp gear, food, water and other items for loooooooong backcountry off-road trips! SWEEEEEEEEET! V
Awesome video Andre .for those of us in the far north of Canada its great to see all the truck accessories that are at Sema. It would be great to see more of this stuff to. Keep up the good work
We are really enjoying this series that you’re doing and I can’t believe I’m saying this but that Ford van is probably the best all around camper/four-wheel-drive for practical purposes of them all you would actually have room to enjoy yourself move around and stand up that things are awesome of course I like the Broncos and jeeps but as a 6 “4 guy those tents and things are pretty impractical but that van you could get up and walk around
That Wolverine literally tows as much as a new Ford Maverick Tremor, further confusing me about why the Tremor has such terrible towing capacity compared to a SxS.
I just want one where i can go camping without worrying about being attack at night. ofcourse theres a low percentage of this but if i can avoid it why not.
It would be funny though. Seeing a toyota tacoma with some some big shantytown mass of canvas & plastic windows blowing furiously around in the woods, gadgets flying everywhere, everything lit up with 50 different LED lights. That would make me laugh, hard. All I ever see back in the woods is some beat up campers that the hunters drag around.
show more Colorado zr2 stuff that's what I was looking for and you disappointed me, there's not any thing you could possibly give away to make up for that
So in essence the market is heading toward too big, too heavy, and too expensive. I mean a water tank in a rack system? Hope you don’t hit any off camber roads… or narrow roads…. Looks cool at Starbucks, I guess.
exactly. I live in raleigh nc which is far far from any "overland" territory, yet I see these decked out tacomas with 40 grand in stuff and not a single scratch on the whole rig. City folks...
So you show all these great builds at SEMA, but no details on anything. No indication of who the builder is, products used, no index on the video of different builds??? Like the Ford with the crazy custom camper...a build we had to see, yet you showed it for like 10 seconds and then moved on. Why even bother talking as you move through the show?!
Man. Came here just to see the thumbnail and you didn’t even show the inside
Seriously. Was just about to comment the same thing.
Looked like a converted garbage truck.
I was wondering when it was going to lay eggs! 😉
@@foellerd if someone converted a garbage truck into an rv I’d want to see the inside of that too. Not just the front seat.

I remember in my day.... We could buy a home AND go camping. Now, you get to choose one or the other!
You can thank the baby boomers for that
Right!? Some of these units will cost as much as a home

Yeah seriously! Some people are REALLY dedicated to modifying their trucks, even if it means spending money in the hundreds of thousands.
That Hi-Lift mounted via only suction cups. I don't care how strong you claim your suction cups to be, that's a big YIKES!

Thanks for posting all these videos for those who can't be there, Andre!
You missed the Toyota stand. They had some awesome stuff there, including campers & a 6x6.

Speaking of vans, how is the Buhanka going for you Andre?
Cool stuff Andrea! Thanks for showing!

The big green camper is from 27 North in Republic Missouri. The owner is Paul from Ukraine.

Thank you for showing around
Bard doors should be the next big thing lol for the dirt roads and trails in the high elevated mountains ! .
@1:20 you could not pay me enough to drive around on the expressway with a kayak tied to nothing but suction cups.

Is there any thing at the show with a manual transmission ?

Shout out to Ryan's bronco at the road Armour booth
I like the idea of the slide and fold canopy for the truck
Everyone is obsessed with expensive gadgets. This is great for the oil companies, extra weight and extra drag is good for those who sell Gasoline. 😂

some really cool stuff here
Nice shot of dmaxryno's bronco in the road armor booth
trail network area . . . what's that??? full SEMA coverage video . . . is, it???
Road Armor bumpers cost way more than Ranch Hand Bumpers, ridiculous. Who would spend $5600 on a bumper?!
In Michigan those steel $6500 bumpers are completely rusted through in 4-5 years due to road salt. Waste of money.
An asshole would lol.
Man I wish there was some 2 door broncos! Hoping the Mansquatch 2 door will hold on for another 3 years so I can buy one

@19:29 did they find a way to put a propane tank inside the fender!?!?
Any Bronco Sport builds?
